The same strait of Hormuz that Iran blocked, is still the same Hormuz that they cannot pass? Where are the people hailing Iran?
Re: Iran's Lawmaker Says Gasoline Import Halted Under The US Naval Blockade by ElevationD:
While Iranian political leaders admit the truth that USA is in charge, radicalists and their supporters continue to live in illusion.

While they claim to have shut the strait of Hormuz, they claim that they will not reopen it until the Americans behave, yet again admit the truth that the strait of Hormuz is controlled by the USA.

While the rest of the world moves on to fix their economies and societies, the terrorists in Iran impoverish their people in the name of Islam, while building weapons to destroy the world. Everywhere you find Iranian footprints, you see destruction.

I was waiting for one of the ignorant people supporting this terrorist state to make this statement and they didn't disappoint.

Russia has it's own fuel problem and how can America that the delude themselves to have defeated enforce a blickage of your sea. Port so much that you resort to caspian sea for import of gasoline?

They have scorn their life line with that mou. Who the gods wants to destroy they first make mad indeed.

Just a little while and the people of iran will make their uprising against the IRGC but if they don't then by November they will know what epic fury 2.0 means.

Iranians leaders are loud and they exaggerate a lot.

They are not exhibiting any military or technological power in the Strait of Hormuz they claim is closed. What they do mostly is to hide behind some mountains and fire some explosives at civilian vessels. This requires no major military know how. The Niger Delta militants can do the same or even better if they decide to stop oil freights in their region.

The real military strength is what the US is doing in their home turf. They block them from exporting and importing oil.

One thing that is sustaining Iran is that they have citizens that are capable of withstanding hardship just like Nigerians. Their citizens also don't have freedom of expression , and are incapable of challenging their government.
So the Niger Delta militants cAn launch missiles in the Niger Delta creeks that will hit a particular facility that they want it to hit in say South Africa without hitch ?

In the end, this war will not benefit any of the parties involved. They should have honoured the initial agreement, which was meant to provide a window for de-escalation and allow Iran to sell its oil freely without interruption. Today, the situation has deteriorated significantly. Shipping through the Strait of Hormuz has almost ground to a halt, while Iran’s oil exports have been severely disrupted. Its economy was already under immense pressure, and further restrictions will only make things worse.

Ultimately, it is not the politicians or military leaders who will bear the greatest burden. It is the ordinary people of Iran who will suffer most from the economic hardship, shortages and rising cost of living that this prolonged conflict will create.
Lol I thought Donald trump's said USA can escort ship pass the straight of Hormuz
And USA navy is the best in the whole world
I thought their military is completely destroyed
I thought their missile and capabilities are all gone
The war will favour Iran how? Money will be paid to them grin pay and pass
Pay the money in Chinese Yuan grin

Free passage change to payment
So between Obama and trump who wise pass?
If Kamala Harris was the president of united state of America
Those USA soldiers who be alive enjoying and living soft life
Those aircraft and airplane destroyed will be there

But Baron trump is in white house with one babe

You are mixing things up. I never talked about Iran launching missiles towards UAE, Israel and co. My comment was about closing the strait of Hormuz. Most of the weapons they use in doing that are quite crude. It is more like Boko Haram planting bomb or ambushing a convoy. They are not locking down the strait in the manner that the US is blocking their ports. If the Niger Delta militants decide that they don't want oil vessels in their backyard, all they need to do is to be shooting or launching some explosives at the ships passing by. They can claim that they have "closed" the area too.

Taco have ran out of cards. He actually has no more cards left to play. The UAE signed defense path with Pakistan and a nato turkey but both refused to fire a single shot at Iran. So UAE are in talks with Iran directly cuz it’s obvious taco can’t protect its allies in the region thus making them have lesser influence in the Middle East. After this america will learn 2 things #1 don’t Bleep with Iran. #2 don’t Bleep with Iran
I’m sure you don’t even know the difference between the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Thank you for this thoughtful post.

Energy is used for everything from medicare to food processing. Things that affect millions of people that want no part in this senseless war.

People so weak they simply cannot bring their weight bear on their leaders to stop hostilities and resume negotiations.

It is just a pity.
Whether the hardliners in Iran or the hawks in Washington, they all need to be thoroughly ashamed on themselves.

The Caspian Sea is an endorheic inland body of water (the world's largest lake) with no natural connection to any open ocean. It is bordered by five countries: Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Turkmenistan

This is a simple example. By so doing no ship will pass that route unless they have some sort of arrangements. Why would a company risk it's ship in an area where they might bomb it and the company will make devastating losses

Or which one can provide it with its necessary refined gasoline, then way China does?

Russia?

Even insurance companies have started refusing Insuring those vessels especially the European bound vessels. I don't blame them cos if they continue insuring even at a higher value, that can't be sustained due to the volatility of that region presently and the insurance companies would soon go bankrupt paying claims. Out of 10 vessels that passes or try to pass through the strait, guarantee of two or more been hit by IRGC is 100%

The capsian sea is more or less a pool surrounded by about five or six countries, the sea has no linkage to any other water body so that route is very limited n expensive for Iran, but Iran can continue deceiving themselves, sooner or later they would have to swallow their stupid pride n accept reality.

This news outlet is operating from UK, they are another media used to demean Iran and spread western propaganda.

I don't believe any bullscrap published by this outlet, they could not even mention the name of the Iranian lawmaker that said such thing unlike other outlets that wants to publish unbiased infos.

I guess they can only phvvl maga and American wannabes living in Nigeria.

Iran no longer have any subs or ship to close down the strait. In fact, the US would love that to be the case because they would be able to confront them properly. The only think they do now is to shoot crude weapons at oil vessels similar to an attack the Niger Delta militants or Boko Haram would do. There is absolute zero sophistication in that. Also, if they had those ships like you claim, the US would find it hard to block them totally from importing and exporting.

I would send you 50k if you can provide any credible new source to your claim.

No I read on Quora they have thousands of extremely fast small vessels that are so impossible to hit that not up to fifty have been hit so far and the vessels are armed with missiles. They also have subs
