Kuku Kill Me: Nigerian Woman Shares Disturbing Video Alleging Repeated Abuse by yaroinsiders(op): 7:08pm On Aug 16
A Nigerian woman has triggered widespread reactions on social media after posting a video in which she accused her husband of repeatedly assaulting her during their marriage.

In the emotional footage circulating online, the woman appeared visibly distressed as she described what she claimed had been a pattern of physical abuse in her home.

According to her, she had reached a breaking point after enduring what she described as frequent beatings from her husband.

“I’m tired of the beating. You beat me every day. I cannot take it anymore. I don’t want to marry again. You are very wicked,” she said in the video.

The video quickly attracted attention across social media platforms, with many users expressing concern for her safety and calling on relevant authorities, family members and community leaders to intervene.

While details surrounding the incident remain limited, the footage has reignited conversations about domestic violence, emotional abuse and the challenges many victims face when seeking help.

Advocates against gender-based violence say incidents like this highlight the importance of creating safe channels for victims to report abuse without fear of stigma, retaliation or social pressure. Cases of domestic violence remain a significant concern in Nigeria, with rights groups repeatedly calling for stronger enforcement of laws protecting victims.

The latest incident has also sparked debate online, with some users urging the woman to leave the relationship immediately, while others called for a proper investigation into the allegations before conclusions are drawn.

As of the time of filing this report, there was no publicly available statement from the husband regarding the allegations contained in the video. The claims therefore remain allegations that have not been independently verified.

Domestic violence experts advise victims facing immediate danger to seek assistance from trusted relatives, community leaders, law enforcement agencies or support organisations capable of providing protection and counselling.

The viral video continues to generate discussions online, with many Nigerians calling for greater awareness, stronger support systems for victims and increased efforts to address domestic violence in society.

I'm sure he started physically assaulting her when they were still dating, but she still agreed to be his wife despite the major red flag.

Sometimes we women are the ones who keep enabling domestic violence by staying in abusive relationships or marriages thinking we can change the beast into a saint when opposite will be the case... If only we could leave the moment a man raises his hand on us like men leave the moment they find out about our infidelities, the world would have been a better place to live in... The more we stay in these abusive unions, it's the more these men would feel entitled to be physically assaulting us.

You have a good point but you need to work on yourself regarding anger issues or self discipline. Having a record of raising you hands against 5 women consecutively in relationships with you is not a good sign. Let it be that if it is getting to the point you are worked up and moved to hit them, end the relationship. Do not hit them because the moment you do, you have crossed a line and become violent.

Nothing on earth will make me defend a woman who is in an abusive marriage. She deserves all the beating in this world. Perhaps that will reset her brain and help her develop common sense.

I once told a woman to leave, she said "over my dead body". One day there was a fight and I was there. She called out to me for help but I ignored her. I don't have time to waste on women that enjoy being beaten.
