I never reach an agreement with President Tinubu. My support is just based on he is a Yoruba man and his from South West. And I believe that all the federal roads that he has started, I want to encourage him not to forget South West too.

- Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke

No true Yoruba man or woman will want the progress South West is witnessing under PBAT to stop.. a region that generates 70% of revenue for government, yet gets cheated, neglected and marginalized deserves to have one of its sons in power for 8 years.

Beeni o.
Reminds me of BRF's coded statement in Ibadan in 2023 while some people where making clandestine moves to move their SE people's voter's cards to SW that year.

The Yoruba later moved against them, stopped the democratic malevolence and the rest is now history.

Adeleke is a full blown RONU.

It was obvious since he moved to Accord that Accord was just SPV. He tried joining APC but was denied by Oyetola.

Osun people themselves had issues with Oyetola and an unknown Ambo. They have no problem with Tinubu.

Lol. I hope Adeleke is not tacitly sabotaging Tinubu's campaign? If the elections become regionalised, do you think Tinubu will stand a chance? Are Atiku and Obi orphans? Why do you think Tinubu repeated his muslim-muslim ticket? 5.6m out of Tinubu’s 8m votes in 2023 came from the North. Only circa 1m out of Atiku's 6.9m votes came from the South. Obi will still defeat Tinubu across the Southeast and the Southsouth. Tinubu will still slug out the Southwest with Obi and Seyi Makinde. We know all these is geared towards mobilising support for Tinubu in the wake of his fast-dwindling popularity in the Southwest but it is counterproductive as time will show.

Noted. Just tell your fellow Yorubas in Osogbo to stop beating people that try to campaign for the president. We say no to every form of violence.

Lmaooooo... Lesson will be learnt. grin

Obi opened an unprecedented front along tribal and religious line in 2023, and it will bite him hard in 2027. I'm seated baje baje. If you are not seeing that the SW is planning to replicate the SE 90% vote pattern in 2023, then I can't help you. Adeleke is not dumb; he could have said he's supporting Tinubu because he wants him to complete his reforms. Instead, he threw the tribal card. That was intentional.

2027 wey go sweet, na from August we go know. grin grin grin grin Do me, I do you. God no go vex cheesy cheesy cheesy

If you like quote me with rubbish, I've got no time to be trading words with you. You will have enough to quote in 2027.

But omo, this Tinubu is tight ooo. He no dey ever lose politics. What a man!

Those people no even use 24 hours to enjoy their new fake partnership with Adeleke before Tinubu commot rug grin grin grin grin I've never seen a short-lived happiness like that before cheesy cheesy cheesy How is Obi feeling right now after that lengthy X post? cheesy cheesy cheesy Make dem order Ero Abike for am grin grin grin

Osun is 100% locked down for Jagaban! Make Obi and Atiku no waste time and money campaigning in that state. cheesy cheesy cheesy

For Lagos, Tinubu will make them believe they can win defeat him there a second time before pulling the rug at the last minute. Just watch. cheesy cheesy cheesy

Na like this Tinubu go chop Osun votes in the next 5 months cheesy cheesy cheesy

A brave man. No one can gaslight others anymore. Obi plays tribal politics in the SE. He has given every region a template.

You are losing your mind.

Obi will not defeat President Tinubu in South South. You only just saw what the power of a sitting governor can do against a well oiled political machines like the APC. Now imagine that sitting governor is part of that machine.

Atiku does have North East in the bag but the era of one North no longer exists. The three zones are not Atiku's, his native North East might be but the others are not guaranteed for him as they never have been. Hence he doesn't ever win.

As an example, Deborah Samuels was from The Middle belt and Atiku deleted his tweet under threats from rabid Islamic bigots. You think they will now align with him under one North.

Stop the wishful thinking.

Where was the power of this machine in Lagos when Obi handed over Tinubu's behind to him on a plate or was Sanwo-olu not the governor of Lagos? Where was this machine in Ebonyi, Imo, Cross Rivers, Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina, Kaduna, Yobe, etc and all other states with APC governors that Tinubu lost in 2023? A president counting on the endorsement of sitting governors in order to win an election is not the flex that you all think it is. Shoemakers and Mai Shayi's won elective positions in the North just by running on Buhari’s popularity. Tinubu is banking on Adeleke's endorsement in order to see draw in his own ancestral state of Osun. He's not that guy after all.

As you yourself are aware, Obi rode a tide in 2023 whereby a lot of things aligned for him.

In fact, if not that he is a pretty useless politician and to be fair, was marshalled by Prof Utomi on behalf of President Tinubu, he should have done much better.

Again, his inability to think medium term and typical Nigerian gra gra mentality meant he couldn't build on what he had in 2023. Till today, despite 2023, he can't count on a bye election winner that he threw his support behind.

In my opinion, despite not bring his supporter, President Tinubu has shown what patience and an understanding of the Nigerian dynamics are. Atiku just throws money at it, Peter Obi, that one just opens his mouth to repeatedly show he will never understand it.

The election fight next year is an unfair one, we need a stronger opposition in this country. We suffered from a PDP being able to do as they please, we have from APC too though admittedly, President Tinubu has some good reforms going.

The stick being swung by you and those "interesting" Obidients is a frail one. You all need to get together and fo a strong opposition instead of the white flag you are waving.

Wake up and smell the coffee. Muslim-muslim ticket will be a net disadvantage for Tinubu in 2027, unlike 2023. Northern muslims have largely moved on from the ticket while it remains a huge factor for the Christians, especially in the wake of recent obviously APC-sponsored Sheikhs that are coming out to double-down on it. The only Christians it wouldn't alienate are some from the Southwestern extraction who decide to put tribe over religion. Even so, they will have to be openly tribal campaigns in the Southwest just like Adeleke is currently doing in order to turn the tide on Tinubu's unpopularity but doing so will alienate voters from other regions. Tinubu is the only candidate currently attempting to run on tribal and religious sentiments but he is still failing in that regard.

Peter Obi says hi.

Kudos to your Atiku for keeping his head down on that front.

I guess we shall see what egg will hatch in the next elections.
