I was expecting to get some sort of profile. What year was she admitted? Into what course? Did she become a Professor in the same school and if so in which department? So many things to talk about. Not just a picture. |

Mathewrichard99:You dey mind him people who haven't been to the city will think that sky scrappers doesn't exist just like those defending their oga that doesn't have a school certificate will think that everyone else doesn't have a certificate to present |

Exousiang01:That's not how burden of proof works. It's on the person alleging that she's the first ever person to prove it. The onus of proof will only be on the person you replied if he clearly said she's not the first. |

Don't understand. First as how? Only one name was on the admission list? |
| Re: Prof. Eno Ukpon: The First Person To Gain Admission Into University Of Calabar by casualobserver: 9:51am On Aug 17 |
Magic1:There is a difference between gaining admission and registering. You gain admission the moment you are accepted and offered a place, you get a registration number the moment you register. The last person to be admitted may have been the 1st person in the queue on the day of registration and the first person to gain admission may decide to go to another university and not register. English is a very precise language and Nigerians are very loose with their use of English. This is one reason there are so many controversies and confusion amongst so called educated Nigerians for example not fully grasping the meaning of “minimum qualification”. That many of us speak English clearly does not mean we comprehend. 001 simply means she was the 1st person to register as a student. |

More like first person on the list because in the absence of computers, they were not making the list according to the first letter of the name. thats if that title was given to her based on the registeration number |

Was it only one person that was granted admission that year? That someone was number one on admission list, or was the first to complete registration and given the first Matriculation number doesn't bequeath a special claim of being the first amongst equal. |

Bayoonanuga:Where is the proof or evidence of Tinubu's educational qualifications from primary to tertiary |

I know this woman on a personal level. I will call her to find out whether it's true. But trust me, she's a great woman. One of the most beautiful, soft-spoken, intelligent and god-fearing womenn tht I've met. She is such a beautiful soul. But she's now retired. |

| Re: Prof. Eno Ukpon: The First Person To Gain Admission Into University Of Calabar by Breaker001: 11:07pm On Aug 17 |
saintbillion:Yes, I agree with you. But was your Uncle's name the first name on the list of those admitted into the school? What OP is insinuating is that the said Professor's name was the very first name on the list of those admitted that year. Her reg. number may have indicated that 😎 |
