For a man to resort to fetching petrol and setting his own wife on fire over a minor domestic disagreement about clothes shows a complete and terrifying lack of human empathy. No dispute under a marital roof ever justifies this level of extreme violence. Huge commendation to the Kogi State Police Command for the swift arrest of the suspect. He must be prosecuted to the absolute maximum limit of the law to serve as a strong warning. There must be zero tolerance for domestic abuse in our society. I pray for the victim's complete and speedy medical recovery.
