Why do u keep adding used lead acid to your proposal.. lead acid is out of it.. I'd rather prefer used lithium battery than even a new lead acid battery
there's a reason those who invented languages, created the following words

I give you the options, make certain things clear, and then let you or reality decide.

I no really calm down comprehend so kindly understand if my response ain't 100% on the lane.

About which way to go between single 12kw vs 2pcs of 6kw DEYE, kindly do understand it ain't always gonna be about costs, each path got it's PROs and CONs. na when you consider those, you decide which best suits you better.

Asking people for such opinions might not really always play out well as our needs and requirements can be unique.

It's better using a single INVERTER. Major reason to do otherwise is: you wanna ensure if one goes bad, you not 100% stranded + stressing the units less BUT then, you end up paying more mostly than when paying for single unit.

Mind you, being able to use inverters in parallel is kinda like a feature that not so many inverters supports hence probably it's reason they wanna make more out of you.
Thank you for your response.

12kw 48v SMS hybrid inverter

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Jefferyzz(m): 9:28am On Aug 18
C. It depends. If there are equipments that require 3 phase then the 3phase 12kw deye inverter is better, if not, the single phase is preferable due to cost.

Beautiful, Neat Install.
I love the idea of having that Masonia Board behind, instead of installing directly on the Wall.
welldone.

A few question please:
A) Is that a Combiner Box that the output of the Two Deye Inverters went into (1)?
B) What is that item labeled (2) in the pictured below, where the Battery source goes into, before entering (1) above it?
C) Is it better (or not) to have a Single 12Kva Inverter, compared to two separate ones?
D) How much is each of those Batteries and where is their dealer located?

Thanks

God Bless you Jefferyzz for your "direct answer".
I was reading about the thing and saw that what you wrote above, is the main difference (3 - Phase).
In addition, the 12KW can only give each phase, 50% of its rated-Power, at any one time! This means that if you have two equipments rated say, 8Kw and 2Kw, once you plug the 8Kw, though it is still within range, it will not Power the 2Kw simultaneously.!

Also, the 6KW has higher charging and discharging currents.

I am still trying to figure out, whether what is labelled as "Off-Grid" in the 6KW, means it cannot charge from the Mains (that is not Hybrid) or simply that it cannot re-supply Power into the Mains but it is still a Hybrid Inverter.
The reason for this confusion is that there is also a 6KW Deye that costs almost #2M!

It is hybrid, and charges from grid as well. Just like you rightly said, it can't resupply power to grid. It automatically selects PV as priority over grid (only charges with grid if there is no PV or compliments PV to make up for its deficiency. Overall, a very good inverter.

Thank you Boss.
I also noticed that the Price difference is about "Double". shocked

And that is why i was wondering: If Two, Single 6KW Deye Inverter is expected/should give us the same output Capacity as a Single 12Kw Deye, why should the price of a Single 12Kw Deye be double the price of Two, Single 6Kw? huh huh

I have a Single 6Kw and i am planning to double my Capacity, as it is no longer adequate for my needs.
My Dilemma is:
1)Should i just buy another Single 6KW and add to what i already have?
2) Should i buy buy a Single 12Kw to replace what i have and sell the 6Kw that i have........... which Option will give me more "value" (not just in monetary terms, which would have been an easy answer) in terms of output.

Ma People, please share your experience/ knowledge about this.
Tnx.
These inverters are not same model/ type. I once tried to explain it here: https://www.nairaland.com/390522/solar-energy-complement-fta/2397#139763990

That said, go ahead and get a second 6kw. That should be able to give you both redundancy and increased capacity.

Cheers.

The way and manner some of these manufactuerers try to confuse people is something else. You're forced to research deeply else. In his situation, getting a second one pays since He got one already.

My mums inverter won’t come on (Luminous eco volt)…It was low yesterday according to her and cut off when I got ther le today and the battery had charged a little it put it on but it won’t come on even though the low red light still stays…

You have Arena at Oshodi or Ojo Alaba. Any of these would do.

Would suggest you go to where's closer to you as if dem tell you 3-days, e fit end up being up to 3-weeks.

I could share contact of one at ojo but doubt that would only be sharing a contact, not making a recommendation

Those whose projects we have handled, I mean those who didn't buy things themselves in here would disAgree with you because we used Lithium batteries for them all.

Personally, I still use leadAcid batteries for mySelf because over the years, I've built a huge system around it which replacing anytime soon wouldn't be so financial friendly + could introduce issues. Of course later I would but not now as they service systems that need remain online 24/7/365 days.

When it comes to clients, default has often been Lithium Except otherwise due to considerations.

Mind you, I have bought batteries from both You and mrReed. I either purchase directly from You guys or provide your contacts while clients completes the purchase.
Issue be say, I'm not the sort that announces myself unnecessarily. You know the sort that buys something from ya shop attendant, notifies you whenEver they run into you. Me no dey like that.

People tend to assume they've figured me out when in reality, I control the narrative. You know talking too much YET saying nothing.

If I ever wanna use lithium for mySelf, I either build it 100% or buy from you guys. When e reach that time, you go know because it mostly gonna be a custom order so no worry.
