True. No matter how APC tries to lie to itself, Obi will win the Southsouth more convincingly than he did in 2023. Out of the quest for endorsements, Tinubu upset established party structures in several states just to lure governors to the APC whom are now too busy trying to sell their candidacy under their new unpopular party to be bothered with selling Tinubu. He practically attempted to use them to whitewash his own unpopularity but it's failing. Just like the Omisore situation in Osun, the mishandling of internal democracy in the APC will come back to hunt the party in 2027.

In as much as Obi won and will still win Delta state this time around,the fact that the emergence of Omo Agege into the NDC will add more relevance to the party must not be overlooked.

I'm from Delta and take it from me that Omo Agege can win his senatorial election without Obi support because he is loved.

You should be glad Obi now has seasoned politicians like Omo Agege by his side instead of throwing Na me holy pass narrative because Obi need these men to win. I can tell you for a fact that Obi got way more than was announced in Delta in 2023 but it was reduced because of weak structure on ground.

If you truly want Obi to win you should embrace every support possible and not throw shade at those on his side

If Obi wants to win elections only with saints, he should go manufacture his own allies from heaven. Maybe Obi only needs people that will kneel down and pray when the votes are being rigged at the polling booths. This "holier than thou" politics will take Obi nowhere. Politics is not a contest for who is more righteous. The righteous are in seminaries and monasteries, not seeking elective positions. Senator Ovie Omo-Agege is a former Number 4 man in the country who has been winning elections back to back under an unpopular party in Delta long before Obi contested for president. He doesn't need Peter Obi to "bolster" his image.
