12kw 48v SMS hybrid inverter
|
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Jefferyzz(m): 9:28am On Aug 18 |
C. It depends. If there are equipments that require 3 phase then the 3phase 12kw deye inverter is better, if not, the single phase is preferable due to cost. smallsmall: |

Jefferyzz:God Bless you Jefferyzz for your "direct answer". I was reading about the thing and saw that what you wrote above, is the main difference (3 - Phase). In addition, the 12KW can only give each phase, 50% of its rated-Power, at any one time! This means that if you have two equipments rated say, 8Kw and 2Kw, once you plug the 8Kw, though it is still within range, it will not Power the 2Kw simultaneously.! Also, the 6KW has higher charging and discharging currents. I am still trying to figure out, whether what is labelled as "Off-Grid" in the 6KW, means it cannot charge from the Mains (that is not Hybrid) or simply that it cannot re-supply Power into the Mains but it is still a Hybrid Inverter. The reason for this confusion is that there is also a 6KW Deye that costs almost #2M! |

smallsmall:It is hybrid, and charges from grid as well. Just like you rightly said, it can't resupply power to grid. It automatically selects PV as priority over grid (only charges with grid if there is no PV or compliments PV to make up for its deficiency. Overall, a very good inverter. |

smallsmall:These inverters are not same model/ type. I once tried to explain it here: https://www.nairaland.com/390522/solar-energy-complement-fta/2397#139763990 That said, go ahead and get a second 6kw. That should be able to give you both redundancy and increased capacity. Cheers. |

mctfopt:The way and manner some of these manufactuerers try to confuse people is something else. You're forced to research deeply else. In his situation, getting a second one pays since He got one already. |

AyarmBoye:You have Arena at Oshodi or Ojo Alaba. Any of these would do. Would suggest you go to where's closer to you as if dem tell you 3-days, e fit end up being up to 3-weeks. I could share contact of one at ojo but doubt that would only be sharing a contact, not making a recommendation |

Valto:Those whose projects we have handled, I mean those who didn't buy things themselves in here would disAgree with you because we used Lithium batteries for them all. Personally, I still use leadAcid batteries for mySelf because over the years, I've built a huge system around it which replacing anytime soon wouldn't be so financial friendly + could introduce issues. Of course later I would but not now as they service systems that need remain online 24/7/365 days. When it comes to clients, default has often been Lithium Except otherwise due to considerations. Mind you, I have bought batteries from both You and mrReed. I either purchase directly from You guys or provide your contacts while clients completes the purchase. Issue be say, I'm not the sort that announces myself unnecessarily. You know the sort that buys something from ya shop attendant, notifies you whenEver they run into you. Me no dey like that. People tend to assume they've figured me out when in reality, I control the narrative. You know talking too much YET saying nothing. If I ever wanna use lithium for mySelf, I either build it 100% or buy from you guys. When e reach that time, you go know because it mostly gonna be a custom order so no worry. |

I know you are doing it intentionally, because you dont come across as someone who is 'dumber'. Maybe you will also become President of Amelika, one of these days. ![]() Thank you for contributing to these thread |
