US secretary of defense, Pete Hegseth reportedly hid from Donald Trump the fact that a major logistics supply base used by the US to supply ships stationed in the Arabian sea, was extensively damaged by Iran to the point of being inoperable.

According to New York Times sources, the damages Iran has caused have disrupted US logistics in the region and that critical mission supplies will need to be flown to bases far away before being shipped to the theatre of engagement. A process that takes weeks.

Conditions on the USS Abraham Lincoln are so dire, sailors have called home letting families know of how low morale on the carrier is. Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth have denied the claims.

In response however, the pentagon is moving a carrier very critical to US operations in the Pacific, the USS George Washington (CVN 73), to the middle east, to relieve the USS Abraham Lincoln. The ship should arrive in little over a week.

Sailors on the USS Abraham Lincoln, face and additional 2 weeks on sea traveling to make a port call or more on the journey home.

Why does this matter? Withdrawing the USS George Washington from Asia, exposes US allies there to the increased sabre rattling that China and North Korea have been making of late and further reduces US capabilities to project strength.

Even more alarming, a carrier strike group is made up of supporting battle ships and an additional submarine capable of firing nuclear missiles at targets anywhere on earth. These ships have all been at sea for over 300 days beyond their scheduled deployment. They all remain unsupplied.

A Nimitz class carrier, which the Abraham Lincoln is, carries roughly 5000 sailors (crew and wingmen). Adding up all the sailors and marines in supporting naval destroyers and submarine following the carrier, the number easily totals over 12,000 men.

The carrier strike group currently on its way to relieve the USS Abraham Lincoln and her support ships, has a naval destroyer that stayed without power in the entire ship for 4 days recently. The conditions in the entire carrier strike group won't be much better for long. The US still hasn't solved the logistics quagmire it faces in the middle east.

Now this explains why Trump seemed to have been dragging his feet, supposedly letting Iran play the U.S. like a fiddle for several weeks back in June/July in the name of some supposed MOU/60-day cease-fire. For a minute there, I thought the man was losing his fire. 🤔🤔

Parts of it, the part where it claims Hegseth hid the news from the President, seem like propaganda. How could the president have been acting the way he has been if he was not informed? 😒😒

Anyway, nothing is delusional about being suspicious of every news story that is reported by the media since this war, at least, as Iran and its many allies have mostly been fighting the war using AI manipulation and misinformation. 🥱🥱
