Reference:Instead of the AG flying out to sort it out, why not Bobo Chicago fly out of the office and return to his old home ![]() What is he doing there in Aso Rock, embarrassing Nigeria and Nigerians? Thankfully for him Chicago is not a city in China, we would have been saved his embarrassment long ago. swaggerjack: |

What difference will it make if the files are opened and it shows Tinubu was part of a drug syndicate and made a deal with Feds to forfeit drug proceedings? If we say it is the same as the Epstein Files ... we're wrong. The a Epstein Files can lead to the prosecution of Trump. ... make him appear in court and face possible prison time. Tinubu already went through the judicial system. So what exactly is the point of all this?... how will this help to move us forward? |

The easiest way to make good money in dollars is to come up with an idea of how to release documents relating to BATs forfeiture. These guys are cashing out big time! Funny thing is that what has been released so far is enough information to work with. |

Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any man. As long as it's pathetic to have someone with a baggage of such ruling this nation, it doesn't still make sense to me for opposition at this time to be chasing this kind of issues! You can insult me as you wish, but I will refer to this post by January ending when it would have been too late to cry that it is a misplaced priority. Are you saying that as a people we cannot unite the opposition into a single front come up with alternative blueprint to solve all this issues of insecurity, epileptic power supply huge inflation rate and this humongous corruption that is suffocating is! Market the alternative solution and vote him out? Depending on US file report to get Tinubu out of office is an acid test that there is a problem with the people. This is not a military regime, this is democracy. Let opposition bury their selfishness, unite together, come up with a blueprint that proffers practical solutions to these myriad of issues bedeviling the country and see how he will be voted out massively afterall he didn't perform. Then, let him sort himself out with US Afterall, Anambra and Osun states had shown us clearly that APC cannot won against a better and united opposition. |

hotwax:So what will happen after they release the file? We already know that Tinubu forfeited money and the case was closed so what again? What is new? |
| Re: Tinubu"s Forfeiture: Things Are Moving Much Faster - Von Batten-Montague by goslowgoslow(m): 2:30am On Aug 21 |
saintmm:I love your comment. Regardless Tinubu has nothing again to settle with the US government, they had a bargain which was the money he forfeited, he was not even convicted. Oppositions can continue to chase shadows. |

Trump is a convicted felon yet he's the leader of the great US. You're here trying to bring up a concluded civil case because you think you can get to ASO rock through the back door! |
| Re: Tinubu"s Forfeiture: Things Are Moving Much Faster - Von Batten-Montague by ubimagos: 3:07am On Aug 21 |
ubimagos:Donald Trump is legally a convicted felon. In May 2024, a Manhattan jury found him guilty on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records related to hush‑money payments during the 2016 election. He was formally sentenced in January 2025 with an unconditional discharge (no jail time, fines, or probation). As of August 2026, the convictions remain on record, though Trump is actively appealing them |

Slippy:Stop writing nonsense here because you know absolutely nothing about how the American justice system works. You think the US is Nigeria where the president is the alpha and omega? Think again. FYI, the institutions are independent and will do what they consider right or wrong. A president trying to get in their way has consequences. Go and check the number of laws that Trump tried to execute that the judiciary reversed! |

UnassailableTru:Those caught both here and abroad followed the footsteps of their president. As Nigeria stands today, it's not about disqualifying Tinubu, cause there are many things he got free from, but about the moral fabric of our society. |

He was just fairly incompetent - a standard Tinupoo could only aspire to reach in his dreams. We are sick in that country o. We no just get pesin to tell us. |

MEGAWATCH:Did you just say the future of Nigeria? And Tinubu case is what would determine the future of Nigeria while millions of Nigerian all from south east extraction are languishing in prison for drugs related offenses there in Europe and part of African prisons and that alone doesn't bother you as a Nigerian, you should be ashamed of yourself. All of you who have been working tirelessly to see Nigerian been put to shame will all end up in shame so shall it be.Amen. |
