​The apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Dr. Ngozi Olejeme as the South-South Zonal Director of the APC Election Planning, Coordination, and Monitoring Team.

​In an official statement signed by the acting Global Youth Leader, Mazi Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu Ohanaeze Ndigbo World-wide, the organization, declared that Dr. Olejeme—who serves as the Vice President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide—brings administrative competence and deep political experience required to oversee election planning, strategy coordination, and campaign monitoring across the South-South region.


​Mazi Okpalaezeukwu described Dr. Olejeme as a seasoned grassroots mobilizer and philanthropist, whose sustained humanitarian endeavors across the nation have earned her widespread public goodwill.

​Addressing the allegations against her, the apex igbo socio-cultural body dismissed the claims as a deliberate attempt by her distractors to water down her efforts and successes recorded during her tenure asl Board Chairman of the NSITF.

Aligning with the legal position articulated by Dr. Peter Chidera—a legal practitioner who served as the Global Deputy Legal Adviser and currently serves as the Global Treasurer of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide—the organization emphasized that under Section 36(5) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended), mere allegations of crime without a competent court conviction are legally insufficient to disqualify any citizen from holding public or political office.

As the first female to be appointed as Board Chairman of a complete moribound Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF),

She saw to the successful enactment into law of the Employees’ Compensation Act in December 2010 and the setting up of necessary human and physical infrastructure for the implementation of the Act. She single handedly employed about 7 thousand unemployed Nigerian graduates cut across the six geo-political zones of Nigeria. Her records of employment in the Fund are yet to be broken by any public/civil servant.

Her appointment as the Board Chairman of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF was phenomenal as she unrelentlessly led the campaign for the provision of adequate compensation to workers both in the private and public sector.

​Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide reiterated its full support for Dr. Olejeme, as she assumes leadership of election planning, coordination, and monitoring in the South-South zone.
