He will surely be sorely missed. He was truly a LEGEND.

I thought he was going to overcome the illness this time too after the long spell he once had in the past yet was able to comeback and make greater impact.
He will forever live in our memory for the great films and lessons learnt from him. Ogogo has gone to join other departed great thespians before him. R.I.P sir.

May God rest his soul.

And Nollywood need to do better, everybody die, no doubt about that but there's should be some structure in place to cater for those actors who are going through sh*ts

He must have worked for the Lagos State Water Corporation when UPN progressive governor Jakande made the basic utility available to households.

Unfortunately, Tinubu and his fellow progreThieves have destroyed this legacy completely in the past 27 years of growing budget 100 times to N4.2 trillion from reforms to the tax burden on the public.

Is that the wicked plan he is using for the entire country now huh

He had Stage 4 cancer. It would have taken nothing short of a miracle for him to survive.

Stage 4 means that the cancer has metastasised (it has spread from its original source in the body to several other parts of the body)

That's why early detection is so important for cancer. If they had detected it very early and the cancerous tissue was surgically removed, Mr Ogogo would probably still be alive today.

May he rest in peace.

Every Yoruba child who grew up in the late 80s and 90s know him. He was impossible to miss just like Karan, iya rainbow, madam shaje, Lola idije, Alade, Jude kososo, Ajirebi, broken bottle, Lalude, epo tin tin etc
Then we had limited options, the only way to get movies are home cassette or TV station' s showing soap operas, we don't have the privilege of streaming platforms or YouTube etc. Now with your internet access on phone or Pc ,you have access to millions of content,so you have many options.

He had cancer that progressively deteriorated to Stage 4. He did not start with Stage 4 .

FreeStuffsNG:
Smh.

He is clearly ignorant yet sounding like an authority on a subject he is not competent to speak on.

This is why patients need to enquire about the level of training and expertise of their care givers. This is a textbook healthcare professional who is a non-expert.

There are numerous herbs used in cancer therapy and many more that have shown tremendiously positive outcomes in preclinical studies , animal models and even study groups!
This his remark makes him sound like a quack sef.

Even the translational challenges have been overcome in most of the studies! He is clearly clueless on what he is saying and it is the right of Ogogo's daughters to reject his kind of incompetent advice and seek experts in that area.

There are potent anticancer drugs with tremendous potential to reverse the progression of stage 4 cancer, don't let anyone fool you. This is why I call on FG to invest more in pharmaceutical research and development.

Unlike other diseases, cancer prognosis is difficult largely because of the complex disease pattern with multiple subtypes of each type, variation in how aggressive they are and how those tumour cells may later start 'communicating' to confuse the body, drugs and the healthcare team but the combination of the right treatment and support systems which may not even be clinically-related help the patient recover. Some cancer are notorious for coming back and significantly reduce the survival chances so it is completely wrong for anyone to advice you to ignore options that have proven to work!

A team of Chinese-Canadian researchers just had a breakthrough with synthesizing a very rare and expensive herbal anticancer agent used in orthodox cancer therapy with yeast fermentation and it has been published.
Don't let one ignoramus gbegbendus fool you o.

Talk to the real experts, don't sit on social media and read from folks like this.

Again, I plead with FG to invest in pharmaceutical research and development so that we can replicate what the chinese are doing in this area too. The Chinese took the antimalaria Artemisia from under our nose and took it mainstream but with cancer, they are doing same but being clandestine about it and we can do same.
