Yawns...!

Yeah... Your country is great but Canada is not.

Well done.
Your depiction is false.

My country portrays actual reality, Canada does the opposite.

In US, it is the H1B. It is still same path.

If you conversant with terrains, Do you think a software engineer on H1B earns same salary as a software engineer on H1B? Both within the US?

Facebook and X tell you the expertise not in the country, don’t believe that as someone who knows the best universities in the world are in the US.

H1B is a slavery ticket. You are BOUND to slave for that company till you get your PR which takes yeaaaars!
the only area Canada is ahead on immigration perspective is the PR. Every other thing is over rated. Honestly.

Let’s call a spade a spade and say it out the way it is!

They are looking for slaves!

The unemployment rate in Canada is on the high side that you would even find online videos about it. If the jobs are there, why aren’t their own citizens taking up that job instead of seeking foreign intervention?

Yes, they are not trained but a country like Canada has the capability to train them and get them to work within same processing time they approve a foreigner.

This Caucasians aren’t fools. They know exactly what they doing.
You are one of the very few who see it for what it is. Sadly however, very many of us are too beaten down to lift up our heads and fix our space preferring instead to go slave in the Whitman's country that holds no future worth calling one. Your children in the foreign land end up as second rate citizens. There is nothing as painful as giving all to a society that refuse to accept you as one of them simply because you are not!

Let me tell you something you may not fully understand about these countries. People who were born there, raised there, or migrated there and eventually became citizens don’t have the same pressure as people who are still on residency permits.

Before you can renew your residency, you often have to meet certain requirements, including proving your financial situation and showing that you are working or otherwise financially stable. Whether you like it or not, this pushes many migrants into the workforce.

Citizens, on the other hand, don’t have to worry about renewing their residency or proving their right to remain in the country. That is one reason why migrants are important to these economies: they help fill job vacancies that need workers. In the process, they pay taxes, social contributions, residency and administrative fees, and contribute to the economy in many other ways.

So it may not be about having the resources to train their people. The question is, do they want to be trained and do such jobs?

Call it what it is! Slavery!

If your own people won’t do it, why seek foreigners? You not even sponsoring their visa processing and relocation has it ought to be done if a company REALLY seeks your expertise.

Won’t their own citizens make same contributions and remittance if they invested in them?

They need slaves who can’t ask questions.

Why not request for our fresh graduates? How about that? They need experience slaves who they not ready to relocate . Same salve will sell everything to settle in

I know very well what I am saying.

But people are not forced to apply.
And you can't compare the condition of living in Nigeria with Canada.
It just like heaven and hell.
The present administration of Nigeria are doing everything possible to kill the masses with taxation with no single reflection on the Masses.

Why I said they know what they are doing.

They know my people don’t have an option.

Get my point right. Why didn’t they recruit out fresh graduates and unemployed? They wanted ready made with years of experience and accreditation. We talking about people who have built a life here.

Without any inventive, you telling them to apply at their own cost

Sir, it’s redefined slavery

Canada is so overrated except if you are a healthcare worker. Indians have taken over virtually every sector and they have gradually introduced nepotism because they dominate every sector.

What if they are just lazy and dont want to work, like their counterparts in the UK?
What if they feel the Pay-package is too small for them, since they are Native Citizens and have a sense of entitlement?
I am just speculating though.

But for a Jobless Nigerian, is that Canada Employment not a 'forward leap", in terms of Economic Prosperity?

SIRTee15:
Canada is not what is used to be anymore. In the last 10 years it gone seriously downhill. Trump economic warfare is not helping matters thus economic outlook is very unpredictable. Most companies may eventually fold up or move to USA.

Moreover, the massive immigration policy of Trudeau did not correlate with economic opportunity so we have far too many people chasing fewer good jobs.

Except Nigeria is already a dead end , I would not advise anyone to consider Canada. Spending over 50 million to leave a very good job and relocate to Canada in 2026 is not a wise decision.
When a Country focuses too much on War, instead of Development, the end result is always the same: Downhill.

Please, l want anyone to sit back and calculate how much Canada has invested in Wars in the last TEN YERAS (either led by the US (Middle East, Africa) or the EU (Ukriane)) and you will see where the Profits and Money meant for Development and Growth has gone.

Most European Countries are in this quagmire right now: Funding an UNWINNABLE Ukraine War with Russia, using majority of their Budget, while their Citizens are thrust into Poverty.
