No he's not. He only won 4 Yoruba states in the entire South in 2023 and that was with Seyi Makinde doing anti-party to support him. That was the Tinubu that was untested and had so much goodwill as the only sole Yoruba candidate. The resistance against him in Yorubaland will be greater in 2027. No need to argue this. We can already see signs of that. Just like in Osun, he may rig and unleash violence on his own people but it wouldn't be enough. Over 30 persons were killed in Osun. It still wasn't enough for him to win.

Tinubu was on the ballot but still lost Lagos and Osun despite the endorsement of Sanwo-olu, Gbaja and Obasa. Sanwo-olu and all the senators won their re-election convincingly. The lesson from this is that no one can promise to deliver Tinubu. Lagosians were intentional about not voting for Tinubu, and the same will be the case in Osun, just like 2023.
