In an effort to downplay the 13 month strike of Anambra state medical practionerrs, Giringori stated that the strike did not lead to any deaths and as such should not be used to judge him on how he oversaw the longest industrial strike action of medical workers ever to have been recorded. Well , the reason there were no deaths recorded , Mr Obi is because the hospitals were all shuttered and under lock and key for 18 months. The impact of that protracted industrial action by striking medical practionerrs denied the very poor and vulnerable from getting medical attention and treatment. There were also patients undergoing treatment before the strike action commenced and that saw to their treatment being discontinued. To Obi, the ostrich, with it's head -in-the-sand approach to reviewing the impact of that protected strike action is that, as long as no deaths were recorded by the state hospitals, then the strike never had any impact on the overall medical dispensation structure provided by the state. What a wicked being this Giringori is. |
