When did this start or happen??
I guess you’re new - only choice items is what you can guarantee of buying now from Aliexpress. Other major shippers now avoids shipping to Nigeria.

Were you able to contact NIPOST/EMS? My item has been held at customs since August 17th

cyberjacker:
Good day guy, how do you suppose i contact nipost, as my goods shows it is in custom clearance on aliexpress since the 13 of july but on the shipment website is said it has crossed the border (Netherland Post)
Buyers protection is almost over, do you think i should request for a refund? just in case?
Re: This Thread Is Only For Aliexpress Shopper by lovewins: 12:37pm On Aug 25
Is there anyone who has the support mail for AliExpress without having to reach them.l in-app?

The increasing number of stores that no longer ships to Nigeria is ever on the increase and this is largely due to the high refund rate initiated by Nigerians due to delayed or non delivery of items by NIPOST.

I have reached out privately to most of the stores on my radar and they acknowledged this as the reason and when I suggested pivoting to Speedaf as primary shipping logistic company they claim they sadly can't do that as AliExpress standard shipping handles these delivery and so determine how these items are shipped.

It becomes imperative to take this conversation directly to AliExpress since these vendors don't control logistics. It's ridiculous now cause if your product isn't a choice item, it's becoming increasingly difficult to get stores (mostly gadget related) that now ships to Nigeria. Maybe reaching out directly to AliExpress and bringing this to their notice will help.

Don't waste your time. If you desperately need a gadget and the seller will not ship out of mainland China, use 3rd party services.

How does it work?

Can I use the third party's address when I order or they are the ones who must initiate such order.

Another thing I do is to check for items I want on the Bundle deals section. If it's there, I'll just add 2 more items of small value so they can ship. Usually done through speedaf. It's worth the try

Sourcing, procurement and shipping all handled by the 3rd party.

Nipost is not the same as speedaf,
Custom clearance started could take up to 5 months and more before the next update, and in some cases, It never arrives.

Yes turns out you can actually track the goods more than it is shown on aliexpress, my using the international shipper's website which in my case was Netherlands shipping, so after it showed that it has enter "crossed the border", i decided to contact nipost and they told me i should be patient that it is in my local post office so i waited some days before going there turns out my goods have been with them since the 7 of this month and they didn't bother calling me, i just took it and they asked me to pay ₦500, i hope this helps

From observation, Netherland Post usually delivers In a 6 weeks timeline. The primary issue is with Malaysia Post. I remember ordering a tablet last year that got shipped by Malaysia Post, and it didn't get delivered so I had to request for a refund. It however came almost 3 months later. I reordered same tablet from a different store and it got shipped by Netherland Post and got to me in 1 month.

All my parcel that got shipped by Malaysia post always end up being a refund case. Not one exception so far. Netherland Post however has been different.

Good morning everyone. I’m trying to get a battery for my HTC 10(part number B2PS6100). Nowhere seems to have it listed for below 30k total.
Does anyone know anywhere/way I could get it better?
Re: This Thread Is Only For Aliexpress Shopper by Gbagura: 6:44am On Aug 27
Why is it that items do clear custom quickly(1-2 days) in China but when it lands in naija, it take days with the custom? My items landed on the 23rd in Lagos and it's still with them. The only good news for me is that speedaf is the shipper.
Re: This Thread Is Only For Aliexpress Shopper by Encitee3991(m): 8:32am On Aug 27
I have an item that is yet to be cleared by custom.
Custom clearance started on the 20th
Thing is, 2 other items with the same custom clearance date(though, different time of the day) have been cleared and delivered, but this one hasn't moved.
First time experiencing this. Has anyone had such experience?

I want to believe that your comments is about excitement rather than that of complaining. Yes, it happens sometimes seeing orders arrive in less than a week.

In this scenario, mother luck decides to smile on you such that your parcel was dispatched abroad immediately it arrived China Airport, arrived destination the following day and then cleared customs in less than 24 hours.
Bear in mind, however, that cases like this don't occur every time.
