bassdow:Thank you. Our challenge Is to learn how to build good lead-acid batteries that can last 10+ years. But the DOD and weight is its major issues |

Mrreed:Here goes this Man again! I just wish all our seLLERS will be like him, open transparent and honest. No hiding behind "Bot doesn't allow prices" and all other stooPid reasons. May the Good Lord continue to bless and uplift you and everything associated with you. I'm sure he hacked the Bot to allow his prices. |

I hope it is actually "a b.o.t"... and not someone behind the scene, that allows a Post with an obvious foul language to go un removed, but scrubs the response below, many hours later? Did you say "Once like Me"? huh grin grinThis is just an observation, not to prolong the botched attempt. the b.o.t, as i understand, does not take sides o. ![]() |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 6:24pm On Aug 27 |
smallsmall:would have loved the system left names intact so we know whose comment(s) got scrubbed. About the BOTs not taking sides, those observant enough, must have noticed sometimes, e be like say those BOTs dey get target and once you dey e radar, small thing e go limit you. Sometimes sef you go comment, e go leave am and you go think say you don scale through. Later you go see say e do you eskor. EitherWay, no worry, those scrubbed comments above ain't mine because I never comment since and the few I did today all scaled through. About chickenLanguages going through, well no system is perfect. Not on system heavily invested on, let alone on our dear sophisticated advanced ₦Land. |

bassdow:Had to drop this as comment so in case e happen, the above remains unTouched. Only time BOTs ever touches ma comments is mostly if I add price + location + mobile contact or a variation of them. Using emoji worked but seems e quick learn. price is kinda easy to byPass though could vary by context and time or if you no dey e radar. The likes of @Valto suppose know wetin I dey talk. Me sha never get e time because come to think of it, slight observation shows current BOT ain't based on a too basic regular expression as expected of Nairaland based on history |

Who dey ask you for all these meaningless explanations? No need quoting me, to express your "inconsistency". ![]() You go speak forward, then speak backward and conjure up topic for yourself and start commenting on it. ![]() I just hope everything is fine up there otherwise, HELP is free! |

smallsmall:I quite agree I need help, just like most humans BUT wouldn't agree regards HELP being FREE except you demostrate financially by increasing ma bank account balance by at least a 6-figure digit. You sha still never realize say you dey keep me company. We go continue till one of us give up. I sure know it ain't gonna be me. |

bassdow:Boss, can we please limit childish chats here? There are people here looking to gain knowledge but you keep flooding the thread. It's not hard to display knowledge if you have it. I think you're trying to hard. No vex ooo... With your presence, the thread has been growing backward somehow. Many have left, even if they don't want to say that to you. Please for goodness' sake, cut down on your excessive meaningless explanations. I beg you with anything you believe in. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 10:19am On Aug 28 |
bkuranga:isn't it funny and absurd how we tend to pick sides in matters we either should act neutral or call out / caution actual offending parties ? I do know you speak the mind and thoughts of others like you. Shared something for sale, along with it's full model and brand, attached price when asked. When asked why no image, and equally pointed out a mistake in model name, I calmly responded instantly and made corrections BUT since the person had ulterior motives, choose instead to turn to attacks and you expect me to keep mute. Issue is, even bullies would think twice if they know the likelihood of you standing up to them is high. Not everyOne is docile enough. I can be anything so long I get needed result. No one got monopoly of stewPiDiTy and unlike most people, I do not hide behind unKnown names. This username is my only username here on nairaland and on the internet. Go Check, I have no criminal links BUT if you fnd me, I would go on steriod to not just get to equilibrium BUT tip the scale. You said "Please for goodness' sake, cut down on your excessive meaningless explanations." Kindly do note it helps me say Less with more Words. meanWhile, when has it become an issue Greeting fellow Nairaland memebers ? |

bkuranga:As much as I agree with the fact that they are derailing the thread with unnecessary arguments,,I disagree with you on him taking back the thread with his presence…Bassdow is one of the most active guys on this thread and he answers almost all questions if not all…in fact he’s one of the few guys that keep this thread going even though at times he can be a handful… Nevertheless the arguments with the other guy is getting irritating on top sometimes so trivial |

Greetings to everyone, let’s try to engage more in educative discussion that can broaden our knowledge in the field of solar energy technology. In this light, can we share our views on this: Which is more better and recommended? Whether to Connect SPDs to Breakers’ INPUT or OUTPUT. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by mctfopt: 5:52pm On Aug 28 |
The lack of power is truly truncating our development as a nation. My heart bleeds for every Nigerian living in darkness; so many opportunities have been lost to this. A serious nation should declare a state of emergency on education, transportation, and power. Whenever I visit Chinese forums, their discussions are miles ahead of what is obtainable in African forums. I stumbled upon a Chinese electric vehicle forum recently, and the discussion made me sad. Rant over. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by mctfopt: 6:00pm On Aug 28 |
justasitis:There are so many opposing views on this. Some say it's best before, others after. I'm with the after team. I put SPDs go on the output (load side) of a breaker, not the input. My reason is simple, the SPD's core part (usually an MOV) is built to eventually fail, often shorting when it degrades from repeated surge duty. If there's no breaker between it and the busbar, that failure becomes an uncleared fault. So the breaker sits upstream, feeding the SPD, giving you overcurrent protection if the MOV fails and a way to isolate the SPD for testing without causing further issues. |

bkuranga:I beg sir, as a silent observer, you dont have to agree with all bassdow have been saying but his presence and contribution is well appreciated. At least for this thread I know dollarnaira and bassdow but who knows bkuranga for any meaningful contributions. I will rather seek opinion of bassdow than all these PLUG and PLAY engineers that is in high supply here. |

CodeTemplar:Go to Tiktok and type "Made in Nigeria eBike batteries" then you'd understand that God truly love Nigerians! The kain rough play dey play with 18650 battery. You'd see heavily undersized wires, badly spot-welded batteries, inferior insulation, etc. Ignorance is truly bliss. |
