What's working in Nigeria? It's a shame mentioning Femi Fanala and VDM in same sentence, especially in comparison

Do you know the worth of the legal fees of Mr Femi Fanala? Must it be about the few elites always?

In recent times, between VDM and many lawyers, who have made more impact and awareness when it comes to security?

One don't need to put on wigs to make impact. This is my stand and that's while I'll keep supporting Nigerians who wants to see Nigeria works. We need more VDM in various fields of endeavour

Justice is a very broad concept that encompasses civil and criminal law.

VDM has no capacity to resolve criminal law issues like trespass to land or assault.

He has no capacity to resolve civil law issues like negligence, malicious prosecution and false imprisonment by the police.

The only area he has shown capability is in debt recovery and negotiation between two individuals.

The argument here is on access to justice and not on the merits or demerits of VDM being invited to the NBA conference.

VDM no fit tie Falana's shoe lace with regards to resolving issues within the justice system.

He doesn't necessarily have to be a lawyer for justice to prevail. He has connections and influence. He knows the right authorities to reach out to get justice for you with speed. He doesn't mind involving international authorities if it's necessary.

Mention one instance where VDM has settled communal land dispute or oil spillage issue or assault.

VDM's role is debt recovery - that's where he has shown capacity.

Let me remind you that land disputes and trespass to land cases can go on for over 10 years, before the parties even consider settlement.

He cannot tie the shoelace of Femi Falana because of the broad nature of what justice entails and the varying circumstances.
