**ALATZ by BAMLAB – A Nigerian App Bringing Local Information Directly to You**

I recently came across **ALATZ**, a new platform developed by **BAMLAB DIGITAL NEXUS LTD**, and I think it is worth discussing, especially because of the problem it is trying to solve.

ALATZ is a **location-based alert platform** designed to keep people informed about what is happening around them and in communities they care about.

Instead of constantly searching the internet or social media for information, ALATZ is designed to bring relevant information directly to the user.

The platform covers different types of alerts and opportunities, including:

• **Security alerts and incidents**
• **Job opportunities**
• **Events happening around you**
• **Public-service information**
• **Community updates**
• **Local opportunities and important announcements**

One of the interesting things about ALATZ is that the information can be tailored to specific locations and interests. This means users can receive information relevant to their community instead of being bombarded with everything happening across the country.

The platform also supports multiple notification channels, including **in-app notifications, SMS and email**, allowing users to choose how they want to receive important information.

For example, imagine there is a security incident, government announcement, job opportunity or important community event happening in your area. Instead of finding out hours later through WhatsApp or social media, the idea behind ALATZ is to get that information to people who are actually affected by it.

The app is currently available on Android and has already been published on the Google Play Store.

Nigeria has a huge information-distribution problem. We have information everywhere — WhatsApp, Facebook, X, Telegram, radio, blogs and different community groups — but finding the **right information for your particular location** can still be difficult.

ALATZ is trying to solve this by making information **location-specific and interest-specific**.

Wow. This is awesome. I wish more Nigerians will see the new world we are heading into. AI is taking over and sadly Nigeria isn’t even positioning itself in anyway to embrace the coming shift in the world order. Hey mate, (poster) are you part of the team creating this app? If you are, kindly send me an email at adexgeorge2002@gmail.com. I wish to invest in any start up that recognises AI as the future.
Cheers.
