A wise husband should not ask for honour from his wife. It is naturally given to the deserved. His wife deciding to show respect to another wether a pastor or not should not make him less. If you teach your wife or children not to respect others, the lessons taught will be delivered back to you as well.

The disagreement reportedly came to a head last week when the couple attended church together and the woman once again knelt to greet the pastor.

After they returned home, the husband reportedly asked her to leave and return to her father’s house.

According to the account, the wife apologised and explained that her action was part of the church’s practice, but her husband was allegedly unwilling to accept the apology.

The woman is now said to be staying at her father’s house while her family members continue to plead with the husband to reconsider his decision.

Marriage dispute sparks discussion
The incident has generated discussion about respect in marriage, religious customs and boundaries between spouses and spiritual leaders.

While the woman reportedly considers kneeling before the pastor an expression of respect, her husband is said to view the gesture differently because she does not kneel before him.

If she doesn't do that to her husband at home it is wrong of her , the Bible as Jesus is head of the church, the husband is the head of the house. Honour your husband , but the man should have heart of forgiveness ❤️

Bowing down and kneeling down is only reserved for God your maker to reverence Him.
Even Angels are not supposed to receive our bowing down for, not to talk more of an ordinary pastor.


Infact if there's any other at all wife's should bow or kneel for should be their husbands, because in Ephisian the Bible said treat your husband like unto God.

Kneeling to greet her pastor is not a bad idea but she should also kneel for her husband too .

JESUS never demanded for anyone to kneel before HIM. Kneeling to greet a pastor, especially as a church tradition or requirement is Pharisaical. It's plain vanity and alluding undeserved reverence.

If you think that my comment was out of place from the content, then you didn't read the story yourself even after commenting another person didn't. Even if you did, you may have read it without full understanding.

There is nothing I comment on without first getting the full picture of what I'm talking on.

My first desire is knowledge and opinion isn't even the second.

Sound funny though, but this is a very viatl issuebin the family now. Back in those days, women do kneel for their husband but nowadays, civilization has changed everything.
Nevertheless, the woman is faulty because she has received several warning from the husband but did not yield. It is not a bad thing to kneel down for a spiritual father, and some men do not care, but if your husband demands same respect, you should give him.
Seeing that the wife is ready to change, i think the husband should consider taking her back if he truly love her.
