Access bank with branches outside Nigeria too is supposed to be an international, standard bank however, they are not 'Customer-Centric', more of a selfish bank reason why people complain about it.

Best is to have more than one bank account for your different go to needs.

Shame on all those blaming the lady and saying she can't get that money back.
But this is a lesson to her and a big lesson that will never be forgotten to many that have travelled and are aspiring to travel out of the country
