Osun was a done deal. But the gamble was worth it with the APC candidate. It was a leveled playing field between Personality and Party. That Adeleke won doesn't mean they voted Accord or did not vote APC.. Even Adeleke admits and declared his support publicly for the presidency after the election.

As for the election next year.. that too is already a done deal. It will be a close call, however if you have noticed anything about Nigerian politics and the ruling class everything is all about timing. Obi is already out of the picture. Which leaves Atiku as the main contender and this will be where the Northern Bloc vote will be required to offset any irregularities from the East for APC.

Even from last election, it shows that math. Their alliance would have earn them Aso rock.

I am really surprised that they can't reach terms for their alliance and still go there separate ways for this coming elections 2027. Both of them once again wants to blow their chance yet again.

I don't know why obi can't make that's sacrifice for the time being to send Tinubu packing by deputize Atiku and then contest for president later. Now if he losses in 2027 getting a shot at presidency will be 2039. Why not make some sacrifice now.
