NPFL Discussion Thread by dominique(mod): 4:46pm On Sep 05
We've actually had a discussion thread in the past but it fizzled out over time.
https://www.nairaland.com/238138/nigerian-league-fan-thread-enter

Let's start afresh with this one.

It's currently match week 2 in the league, some teams are out on continental duty. To all fans of the NPFL and those interested in the growth of the league, let's meet here and discuss matches and results and yes banter is allowed grin

Re: NPFL Discussion Thread by anonimi: 6:44pm On Sep 05
Nice to see that Oluyole Warriors won our first continental match against SC Sfaxen of Tunisia 1-0.

The slim victory margin is worrisome but we hope we can get a draw against them in Tunisia, or even beat them in front of their home fans. Why not if not. cheesy

Ranchers Bees were recently privatised- bought by one of El Rufai’s sons and a former Nigerian international footballer.

Kano Pillars have a reputation for being the team that has the highest attendance of their home games.

Not really.

Each season gets better with away victories and the kind of scores you listed.

It will get even much better with increased viewership and followership of the games.
