Anybody but TINUBU.

That is the Mantra. grin

It's not my problem if my opinion wounds you enough to cause tears.

Southern unity or not, Atiku Abubakar will only waste what's left of his stolen wealth in 2027.

Anybody but Tinubu, does not include Kachalla.

There are approximately fourteen Presidential candidates for next year's elections, just to remind you.

Atiku is wrong, and displays great economic illiteracy for a supposed presidential candidate.

Does he even know what Nigeria's annual budget is?

It's about $40 billion for its 250 million population.

Contrast that with South Africa's annual budget of $140 billion for its 60 million people.

Or the USA's $8 TRILLION for its 320 million people.

Or the UK's $2 TRILLION for its 65 million people.

How in the hell will Nigeria develop without borrowing, Mr Atiku?

You don't know it costs money to develop a country?
Details of this 'development' pls.
Where is all this money going.

Crude price benchmark alone cannot give you real excess. What is the crude production benchmark? Have we met or exceeded any crude production benchmark in any month so far? So, who is paying for the shortfall? Again, did we prepare a deficit budget or a balanced budget? If we prepared a deficit budget, where did you think the deficit funding will come from? Finally, have you checked our debt in USD? Has it gone down or up since Tinubu took over?
🤣🤣🤣 its always easy ... Incase you dont know our opec quota as being reduced to 1.5m bdp which is what we can meet under Tinubu

so by meeting opec quota 1.5m .. Production benchmark as being met @ $65 per barrel for 2026 budget

Which makes your arguement invalid 1.5m × $96 at production benchmark gives an excess crude sales.

What i expect now is show me the " shortfall" or you dont have a point here grin you cant play scope with me bring facts/figure

I propose neither comes back. Instead, let power be subsidized but for industrial estates alone. In China, USA, UK and Japan, they subsidize production inputs like rent, power, materials and more to maintain competitive edge above dummy nations like ours.
Am more insupport of dollar subsidy because it affects every sphere.

“Nigeria cannot achieve prosperity by allowing government to swallow the credit that should finance production. An economy grows when businesses borrow to build factories, farmers borrow to expand production and entrepreneurs access affordable capital to create jobs — not when government becomes the biggest and most voracious customer in the banking hall."
Okay, we know that.

"My administration will impose fiscal discipline, cut waste, prioritise productive expenditure and progressively reduce government’s suffocating dependence on the domestic credit market."
How exactly? Where is the detailed proposal? Where are your economic surrogates on the talk shows or even anywhere?

Dollar subsidy is the worse subsidy. It kills every local production. From banking to manufacture to teaching.

Power subsidy to producers makes far more sense believe me.

Where is all this money going.
It's going to the states.

Where else should it go?

States budgetary allocation under Tinubu is the highest it's ever been in Nigerian history.

ALL THE STATES ARE CONSTRUCTION SITES TODAY.

That's why many of you can post images of transformation in your Abia state, Aba, Enugu, Anambra and all those your places you post with pride.....the only part of Nigeria you don't hate.

You think the money to do all those things fell from heaven?
