They attempted to strike is different from strike, a dictionary can tell you the difference no need for fact check....America had told them they will punish their intent like it actually happened. Not an eye for an eye but trying to do harm will be met with actual harm.

Iran cannot withstand America but they think they can but they will find out the hard way. For 40 years they were being handled with kid glover by sanctions that they were evading easily but with this blockage they now know what sanctions means and destroying of the naval assests tbey know what being returned to medieval age means.
