A safer Nigeria will be achieved how when the North, at all levels, is in bed with terror and they still observe retrogressive practices like blasphemy killings? No leader is obligated to observe Salah with the Sultan of Sokoto who, by the way, is currently a discredited figure with his Sharia agenda insistence in the SW and broad suspicion of Islamic extremism. Obi is just a desperado incapable of reading the mood in the room like most of his compatriot politicians from the SE who practice "food is ready politics". I.e build nothing and no one to then think talk and pledges alone will get you what you wish. The Sultan of Sokoto and the North should not be pandered to right now. Mr. Peter Obi. Sallah is meant to be celebrated with your own family as a Muslim not going to another person’s home to celebrate. There’s absolutely no need to go to Sokoto to celebrate sallah with the Sultan and ask questions on how things can be done. |
