That is when you contiously and intentionally allow yourself to be stupendously inept. Apparently, if this young man was working for the improvement of the livelihood of his people he would have gotten their support to muscle power from his oppressor but he chooses to be advently clueless... Now look at the result!
Well, that is how it should work.
But do the people themselves believe they can be governed impactfuly....doubt it.

A people that don't even know what an economic recovery should look like...

A people that sit by and watch their lives degrade year after year yet cannot make the linkages between their choices and their experiences....just give them a strong man or a money man to think for them and they follow loyally.

It was not Low when Ngige was kneeling down inside Okija shrine?

It was not Low when Umoh Eno was kneeling down before the former governor in the open at a stadium?

Enrol in a school of political history or shed your toga of ig........ce.
It was low then, it is still low now.

Two truths can coexist at the same time.

Smh.

That is being humble and many arrogant poor unsuccessful people don't get it.

He went out of line and realized he was wrong and now begging for forgiveness. That is courage and he earns my admiration for that courage to say " I am wrong and I say sorry".
But when is he going to kneel down before the electorate that should matter in his quest to get back in the saddle.

When is he going to beg you and me that he is supposed to serve to mark his examination paper.

But he can't because you and me don't matter to him and we like it that way because our mindset is subjugated, rendered powerless, our wills and desires are switched off to prove our 'loyalty'.

So if he eventually gets a reprieve from the 'Oba' will you and I still go and stand in the ain and rain to vote him....kai,. democracy....we really miss Abami Eda...he will have waxed so many Grammy winners with the state of our democracy if he was still alive.

Lagos State House of Assembly member, Desmond Elliot, has apologised to Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, over his actions during the last All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election in Lagos.

Elliot is seen in a video circulating on social media, on his knees pleading with Gbajabiamila for forgiveness and seeking reintegration into the ruling party in Lagos.

I’m sorry, I have no excuse, I have nothing other than to say I’m deeply sorry and I am hoping to be cultured in the future,” Elliot said.

The development followed a disagreement between Elliot and the party leadership after the APC primary for the Surulere Constituency I seat in May.

Elliot had withdrawn from the exercise, alleging intimidation and political pressure against his supporters.

He subsequently rejected the outcome of the primary and said he would challenge the process through the party’s appeal mechanism.

Elliot eventually lost the APC ticket to Barakat Odunuga-Bakare, who was believed to enjoy the backing of Gbajabiamila.

Odunuga-Bakare polled 11,385 votes to defeat Elliot, who secured 270 votes in the primary.
That picture showing Desmond Elliot kneeling down is FAKE!

There's no forgiveness in politics. Only few of em will accept 100% and still won't forgive.

Hmm
This culture of servitude is one of the reasons why there's so much corruption in the polity
It just shows how hard Nigeria is now that someone is so scared of losing political access to the point of degrading himself so badly
Nigerians need to wakeup. We're more or less like slaves in our own land

How do we get anything close to democracy in this absurd culture of kneeing down and beg political godfather for relevance. Nigeria is in big trouble with this nonsense political trend and the future looks dimmer on daily basis irrespective of the political party at the helms.

So @ bolded, what do you have to say about Wike who fought Amaechi when he (Wike) was governor?
Enrol in a school of political history where they will teach you the two cases.

Who was Wike politically when he fought Amaechi? What was his political trajectory like? Then ask yourself, who is Fubara politically when he started his fight? What was the political trajectory of a civil servant on level 16 or wareva who suddenly wants to fight when barely six months in power.
