But the diversion is necessary. Airtel has been quite awful, still is in many locations. So folks have been trying different things with Airtel, including exploring other options from competitors for the ultimate goal of enjoying stable unlimited internet.

There are other threads for internet related issues but, for some reasons, I'm only active on this one. I wish the thread had a different name but it was specifically for Airtel unlimited internet that the OP opened the thread.

I bought it last month and there has been no issues since then, but now it's horrible at this point I can't open some apps only Facebook and YouTube is working.....it annoying really.
If anyone has a good configuration Plsease tell me.

Airtel na scrap. The only thing I need to confirm now is whether I can use MTN ODU sim in their normal 5g router. The moment I am sure of that, my Airtel will go on a long vac.

This router has 3 versions, base model x25, the x25pro and the new x25 max 2. Which one do you have?

Of all 3, only X25pro can so far be flashed with a new firmware to unlock it. As such, it's the only one likely to work. Being unlocked alone may not be enough to make it work with the MTN ODU sim. If the unlock software ui has a feature to change the IMEI, as with that of some paragon unlocking firmware, then you're in luck; else you may need to look for alternative MTNN routers or get X30 from Wahab.

Since I started using MTN ODU, I have never called or chatted with their customer service. It has been plug and play for me, without any need to tweak the box.

With Airtel, my first three months were good, but I eventually had to tweak the box to get the best out of it. When Airtel is good, it is really good, but when things go wrong, it can be frustrating. Airtel is cheaper, especially with SmartCash, and their customer service response is good, although they might not always be able to fix the issue.

Airtel might be working perfectly for some people. Both are good, but based on my experience, MTN is the best.

I added the YouTube extension to cloudstream. Watching YouTube channels with no adverts. Currently watching Arise News.

The app is really good but I struggle to find live matches to stream, unlike Nuvio and especially Stremio, which are easy to navigate.

Is there a special way to navigate the app that I'm missing?

It takes some getting used to that's all I can say especially the TV interface, and I included the extension for live matches in the image. There is no special way, if you're able to install extensions, change home screen extensions, you're good.

It's easier and more stable for me personally compared to the other ones, including the nollywood movies it has. Airtel made me download it initially cos of their unstable network,but I enjoy nuvio now too with mtn sub.
