I doubt Barry saved Aikou for being his buddy, I genuinely feel the safe is from a position of strategy. It is easy to hazard a guess that Aikou is the weakest link in the house considering how socially awkward, boring and unspiring he mostly appears. To save him is to have a fighting chance and not necessarily out of love.

Unfortunately, Barry is wrong in his assessment as Aikou has been able to use his unentertaining and monotonous way of life to build an army of fans capable of winning him the prize money.

It is easy to see through these guys, while they disguise their actions and appear to be big on loyalty, their motive if one is watching with open mind is not difficult to unravel.

This is not me taking a dig at Barry, it would be foolish of him to not use his sense and play to his advantage when the opportunity to do so presents itself.

I didn't watch this, but I read on Facebook that when Barry had a conversation with Temi about the choice he made and why, he said he want Aikou at the finals and possibly win the show. Did this happen pls?

You're wrong.

Barry has consistently chosen Aikou for things like this. In most weekly nominations for who to save, Barry has been one of the only housemate who has always chosen Aikou asides Keivo.

And that excuse of Aikou not being strong has always been Barry's excuse for saving Aikou. He used the same excuse in the face to face nomination weeks earlier especially when Tram was dragging him for not being loyal.

He's also always had Aikou's back and its not about the game, at least not to a large extent

Sad I didn't watch the HOH games, wondered how tasking it was and what he did so well that made Biggie shoot him straight to the finals.

Yesterday, when Blue was lamenting that Barry didnt save her, she mentioned that the time they had to save people, she saved Goddessa and someone else (cant remember who) and that she went to explain to Barry that it was a strategy for her. So why is she complaining that Barry didn't save her. Barry also saved Aikou as a strategy..abi

Yes someone corroborated your point but this new information I provided about what Barry said to Temi changes this argument entirely in my opinion.

If indeed he said he wants Aikou at the finals and possibly win, it throws out the assertion of "calculativeness" on his part

They have seen 'active' housemates evicted, and Aikou has survived week after week, how would anyone think he is weak? Isn't that foolishly undermining your opponent?

In fact this season has no pattern of those who go and who stays which is what is confusing them inside the house as to what the viewers actually want

Every eviction day throws out what we and the housemates think we know about this game ...the bottom 3 keeps changing like water

I want to believe Barry is smart, so if choosing Aikou cos he believes he is weak purely based on his personality which himself also shares by the way, then he is not as smart as I had credited him

Biggy kept putting all of them up week after week, how is anyone who is smart undermining anyone? At week 9? They should first ponder on who has kept "inactive" Aikou all these weeks
