Airmark give up. It's time BlueCo to embark on serious PROJECT DEFENSE like Arteta. Mikel Arteta assembled this defence in six years - he kept trying and failing, there are failed projectskme Zichenko, kiwor, tomiyasu and others, never gave up, kept building until he has this defense (at this moment, if Calafori says he wants to leave, Arteta can only replace him and still maintain same quality BLUECO needs to build that defense by signing experience players, not all Dem.Hato, etc without any track record. They could have signed Sensei, Van Hecke and other EPL tested CBs |

Sportsweb:It’s funny that Zichenko and Hato are rated highly by Popizaino. I remember telling him that the former was insanely useless but he is too stubborn. |

swiz123:BlueCo will listen to your request now and decide to sign your fav, and when the problem continues, you will ask him to sign another player. Every season make we dey enter transfer market change enter first xi. Hato is useless Estevao is useless Sell them. |

timbros:What are you even on about egbon? Aside 'balance' giving a team stability to protect leads and goals, outscoring gives you the result - which ultimately is the koko. You're creating a false dilemma with this '11 attackers issh'. I never said balance is useless; I said outscoring your opponent is more important to winning an actual match. An ideal team obviously needs both. But if you force me to choose which matters more in determining a particular match, I'll take the team that can consistently score more than its opponent. Because at the end of 90 minutes, nobody asks, "Who had the better balance?" They ask, "Who won?" On this mountain I'd die. ![]() #TeamOutscore |

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m): 10:44pm On Sep 14 |
Altern8tor:That’s why Sportsweb would say Jakujaku Jackson is better than Joao Pedro and Delap, combined. That’s why Nateevs would want a useless Garnacho to be at Chelsea. It’s crazy. |

nateevs:When we defeated Brighton and Fulham you guys didn’t come with your mumu questions. I know if Caicedo returns and we replace Enzo accordingly and results start coming, that’s when you would remember we bought Lacroix and start chatting sh1t that Alonso followed your idea of balancing the team. No shame. |

airmark:But how come the attack is thriving despite these issues but it is the defence that's struggling? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m): 11:56pm On Sep 14 |
Jamiuokolaa:That's why priority was on attack when we had Caicedo and Enzo but failing to convert begging chances. And we still became the world champions just by replacing Jakujaku Jackson with JP. Imagine what would have become of us, without Caicedo and Enzo and instead of JP, we have Jakujaku Jackson and instead of Rogers we have Nateevs' useless Garnacho. We would have relegated. When we had that argument, If both Caicedo and Enzo were out as they are now, i would be foolish to be asking for only attack to be fortified. The Caicedo of this world shields the defence, but now when we have full backs playing in our midfield, the Timbros of this world thought they could resurrect. Naaaah. |

airmark:Thats the point na The attack is thriving even with full backs playing in midfield. The goals are still flowing...apparently due to the JP and co upgrades. If the Attack can be self sufficient with fullbacks as Midfielders, why cant the defense perform in similar fashion? Defence needs help from midfield but attack doesn't need help from midfield - No be weak defense be that so? The fact that a 3CB defense still needs significant midfield support literally sums up everything we need to know I think i now fully understand why you are team outscore - you know that the defense is actually weak! ![]() |

drisham:Absolutely! Saturday’s matchup between Roma and Inter Milan is going to be explosive. Gasperini has transformed this Roma side but Inter are going to be a big test for that defense that has conceded only 1 thus far. |

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by timbros(m): 5:36am On Sep 15 |
nateevs:Leave am. He think say na 2 year olds him dey talk to. All of a sudden, it's the much maligned Enzo and injured Caicedo that is the problem now. No more Jackson. |
