Dear Nairalanders and well-meaning Nigerians on this great platform,I am writing this to cry out for assistance and to create a public record regarding a transaction with a well-known moniker on this platform, Bigkoko, who also runs Calm Travels. In June 2024, I contacted him based on a thread he posted here advertising services for a German Sponsorship Letter (Verpflichtungserklärung). After our discussions, I paid him the sum of €1,000 (One Thousand Euros) in July 2024 to execute the service.Unfortunately, he failed to secure the sponsorship letter. After he confirmed he could not deliver, I requested a full refund.
The Issue:Since March 2025, he has given me a continuous series of broken promises, shifting dates, and unfulfilled deadlines to return my money.
At one point, he completely changed his WhatsApp number, leaving me unable to contact him for months until I managed to source his new number back on this platform.
To date, he is still holding onto my €1,000 and giving endless excuses.I have complete records of our WhatsApp conversations spanning from 2024 to present, bank proofs of payment, and all relevant transaction details. [b]My Request:[/b]I am appealing to the Nairaland community, the moderators, and anyone who knows Bigkoko (Calm Travels) to prevail upon him to return my hard-earned money. This, of course made the persons concerned to wash their hands off. I told you this personally via calls in 2024, the person concerned was angry to be involved with someone linked to Islamic sects.

If it’s true, or not, honestly I don’t know, and that doesn’t concern me, personally. That’s why I didn’t post your full names, the documents you shared with Calm Travels. But I also, will not want to have anything to do with anyone linked to a religious sect in Nigeria.

These are just the few dates he promised to make the payment but he defaulted all. He went as far as telling one boy to call me that he should tell me that they are in the process of selling a land in his village or something, that as soon as the buyer pay that he ll send my money and still yet nothing came out of it.

So how did we communicate? I lost my previous sim and couldn’t reactivate again.

Then, I post the current one for all to see and contact if needed….and you reached out, and I replied you. Even explaining tax issues, litigations and all that, plus the previous information concerning why the peeps couldn’t help you. Now, I’m the bad guy! Good job!
