Mine has not failed but at the verge...

I started a primary school about eight years ago on a rented uncompleted building. A year later, the landlord asked me to leave because the building now looks better. I stayed there for another year with strong head.

I got a better place in terms of space but dilapidated. Part of my rent and my money was used to upgrade the place....after three years, the landlady is begining to see the house fit for residential renting.

I have secured a land within these few years and have done the foundation, although with serious debts now.

I don't know what to do as the quit notice given by the landlady expires in December this year.

People now say that the behavior of house owners change the moment they see tenants making their houses better.

I need serious help and divine intervention.
I wish you best of luck and divione intervention!

Never let your girlfirned run your business or even have much say

I started a restaurant, I had 2 girls (sisters) working for me and running the place well, my girlfriend came around and managed to make them stop coming ( body language)

She took over and she was actually a chef/cook

In about 2 months, she managed to run it down

I sold the business

Bitter experience

And na ibo girl o but I still love ibo girls nevertheless
So dem no tell you say dem no dey mix business and pleasure together. Who told you that a good chef is equal to a good business manager.

Not really. Except you have strong connections to get government print jobs or companies that print regularly. Printing has a lot of overhead.

Considering the challenging business environment in Nigeria, look for businesses with very minimal overhead. Businesses where light or generator won't be required.

Selling poultry and fish feed
Selling eggs
Being a distributor for companies producing consumer goods if you have the money
Any business with little overhead.

The most important thing is to study, know and fully understand the business before you commit huge money into it. There are dues to be paid and you must pay them one way or another, before at a small level, or later when you've committed huge money into it.
One business I can confidently vouch for is layer poultry farming. Though it's capital intensive but the returns na block if you know what you are doing. The main challenge is the first six months after that, you can run the farm from your earnings and later sell the birds and their dung whenever they stop producing.

Did a laundry business many many years ago when I knew nothing about it. Got sweet-talked into it by one shady character. It failed because the arrangement couldn't hold.
Last year I invested 1M into crypto when I listened to another sweet talker again. I was forced to pull out what was left after almost 80% of the invested capital was eroded. I just jejely cut my loss, cash outs what's left, add small money to it and go buy myself a smart TV cool man no die, man no rotten.
We mooove!
please! What exactly do you mean: when you said that the laundry bussiness failed because the arrangement couldn't hold? please!

I started a very good business, did my feasibility study and everything was ok. Then i proceeded to get someone who was more experienced in that particular business. I considered him almost like family. Long story short, he made it his mission in life to make sure the business failed.
He was a weapon fashioned against the success of your business. I wish you the best in your future endeavors 🙏.

Wow!very interesting experiences here.
The one that got me laughing 😅😂 out loud was about the dude that was sweet talked into 2 different businesses and failed woefuly.

Business is mean and businesses are not ventured into from hearsay or talking sweet sweet things about it.
Business is reality and you got to get prepare all round in a particular business venture before you can stand tall on it.

I have failed thrice in 3 different businesses.

The most painful of them all was buying 5 Hummer 18 sitter buses and registering them in my state transport company at the end everything failed. Accidents, bad drivers, one of my buses knocked a lady down and killed her and the bus was held in the police station for more than 15 months before release. THE MATTER JUST LONG.

I finally learnt that Drivers are the most wicked and evil people you will ever meet on this planet Earth, and I learnt never to start any business I have no idea about in this life again.

I thank God that the one I am currently doing is moving very well it has not been easy though.

May God help us
Thanks to God you learn.

With five buses you can start your own transportation company.

1 crypt0 business :
Last year my friend advised me to sell of my btc when it was 124k but i refused thinking it will hit 200k.
I left it in my Wallet and i lost half of my money about 1500 dolls.

2. Physical business.
I started charging business and put someone to manage.
Within 6 months.
The business collapese.
I have learnt a lot that it is better to put your money in mmf or low risk assest than high risk assest.
yes yiu have lost money, but yiu haven't learnt why yiu actually lost the money. 1st business, you lost money due to 1 personal Factor & it has nothing to do with the business, GREED, you wanted more money even if you have made alot already. Truth is any form of trading brings out the trait you never knew u had, greed, impatient, anxiety. For the 2nd business the only issue was employing Somebody, if the place had traffic or poor power supply, u would have made money from it if you ran it yourself or place a trusted person. Some business require your attention 100% when starting it, especially business that you can not take Stock of physical goods.

Ok. The guy asked me not to get a shop yet which was good idea. He proposed that I get people who will be washing and ironing the clothes in a different location ( my parents house). However, the arrangement failed because the people he brought were actually his staff. They will first of all go do his job before doing mine. I didn't know about this on time. Eventually, due to lack of supervision from my end also( I was working too), the business couldn't survive.

Not everyone has the startup capital yo set-up a photography studio - since you want to be known for printing, you can add photo enlargement and framing service though - not photo studio, not many people snap pictures in studios these days... Except event coverage

No not the same.

Prints Shop is where you print on any surface, while cyber cafe is where you get internet access and printout or upload documents.

Prints shop is smaller compare to Printing Press.

Well you are not a bother bro.
