https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gU85sOuVOE?si=XXZwMNrnI2Gdb-sE 1}. Do you agree that if God is everywhere, He should also be in hell with the bad or evil people there? God Indeed is in everywhere, including hell. However, He is not there in hell with the evil ones, rather He is there in hell against the evil ones. The Aspect of God that is found in hell or destruction is without Light, without Mercy, without Grace, without Goodness. Yes, it's not the goodness of God in hell but instead it is the Severity of God. Psalms 36:5 states that the mercy is dwelling in the heavens {not found in hell}; and verse 6 tells us that what is found in the deep, Abyss or Hell are the judgments of God. The brief time in which the Goodness, Light, Countenanceand, Grace and Mercies of God came into Hell was when the Lord Jesus Christ left His Body in death and descended into Hell bearing all those Goodness of God with Him. Apart from then or that, the Aspect of God in hell is the fearful Aspects of Him that destroys both body and soul in hell. 2}. How is a world begun in shadow consistent with a God who is wholly good? It's consistent because the Good God has a good shadow under which the world may abide safely. As it is written, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." (Psalms 91:1). 3}. Why does a loving God invent a place of endless torment that we call hell? Because in the love of God, He wouldn't continue to leave torments scattered everywhere for, He would gather or unite all torments together to dwell in that one place He invented for them called hell. When all torments finally inherit their place called hell, there will be no more torment anywhere else. Then the Love of God will have satisfied all things in their domains meant for them. 4}. Is punishing short finite sins with infinite pain a just or a cruel design? There's nothing like finite or small sin if the wages of sin is death. Every sin or offense is infinite or eternal unless Love, Mercy, Justice or Forgiveness nullifies a sin or group of sins. It is when there is no Love, no mercy, no forgiveness, no remission, no atonement, no justification, for sin that condemnation of the sin takes the guilty into death and infinite pain. Unfortunately, even when it is a cruel design, it is also a just one: the cruelty of hell does not make it unjust for the sinner or condemned. Infinite duration of the sentence is cruel but it's because it's not a sentence in life but a sentence in death, and there's no time or days for measuring or numbering justice's duration for the dead. 5}. If God knew, before time, who would end in hell, why make them at all? If you know the food you farmed, grew, prepared, or cooked, will eventually end up in the toilet pit, why do you prepare the food at all? All human descendants of Adam and Eve where to end in hell. Yet they consider fruitfulness or bearing children as blessing from God. Adam and Eve could have prevented anyone from either being born or from ending up in death or hell if they had just stayed clear from one tree among many countless trees. To stop make more humans because they would end in hell is to strike all men impotent and all women barren, which means there will be no continuity of human race on earth once their last kind die. The only two ways to remedy or redeem the mess are not by terminating the entrance of new humans, but by {one} The Second Adam or Son of God as Savior and Deliverer of people from hell into eternal life and {two} The ending of the world, so that it will no longer continue in this terrible procession. 6}. Would mercy not spare them the endless suffering of a fate He foresaw? Mercy did and does spare us the endless suffering of the fate God foresaw. However, many who have not seen what God foresaw neither believe what He foresaw or sees, nor do they even regard the mercy He sent to them. How do you help blind people who do not even fully believe you exist or do not believe you see better than them in the way ahead, and wouldn't heed your warnings about dangers or pits where they are headed? Even if He sends witnesses and evidences to them, they wouldn't still believe or receive His mercy and message, because they only believe what they see, what they feel or what blind scientists as blind as them testify. Therefore mercy without faith couldn't save them. |

Your video/write-up is truly hypocritical. Just one example, Adam had no knowledge of good from evil, did not even know he was naked, yet he was supposed to outsmart a wise, cunning serpent, and that after he clearly saw his wife eat the fruit and not die but instead became wise. Not only that, it was already known this was what he'll do, like, destiny. And after he did it instead of giving him a warning as a first-time offender who knew no better, not only was he punished but his entire generations! |
| Re: Six_questions_about_god_and_hell by PCHC(op): 11:08am On Sep 15 |
QuinQQ:I intend for my video/writing to be faithful and truthful without guile. As for the case study for example, let's establish these three facts: {1}. Fact One: Adam had knowledge of God, as well as knowledge of good and evil though at lower degree, even before he ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Adam had conscience that draws the line between good and evil. We are talking of a man who was Ruler of the whole world, including all birds that moves in the open heaven, all moving things in the seas, and all things that move on the earth. Yes, even though God assigned angels to guard and minister to the Garden of God or paradise, Adam was their Captain or Commander incharge over the angels dressing and keeping the Garden, including over the cherubim. Don't think the Cherubim and flaming sword guarding the Garden came after Adam was taken out, rather they had been there before Adam sinned. Only that before Adam sinned, they were subject to Adam; but after Adam sinned they became fearful to Adam. It takes a man of great wisdom and knowledge to both know and name all animals of the ground, and to both know and name the woman is bone of his bones and flesh of his flesh or taken out of him, even though he was unaware of when or how any of those creatures including the woman was secretly made. Just by looking at them he knew secrets, knowledge and had discernment of them. In one of my recent writing here, I did mention that the intelligence God built into the man was taken from the clouds and Angels, while his eyes' material was taken from the Sun, just as his breath came from God Himself. So, never regard Adam as without knowledge enough to rule the earth or oversee the Garden of God. Infact, it's safer to regard Adam more knowledgeable before he ate of the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil, than to regard Adam more knowledgeable after they ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil: I tell you, Adam was more illuminated before he ate the forbidden and less illuminated when or after he ate the forbidden tree — Therefore, don't let Illuminati fool you. {2} Fact two: When Adam did not know he was naked, there was no problem with that ignorance. Infact, that ignorance was bliss. The point is, God was not going to judge Adam for being naked, but was to judge Adam for being disobedient. Many people today continued in the part of the Serpent, selling the narrative that it was better as Eve ate the forbidden fruit otherwise mankind would still be walking naked and remained babies in minddet. One idiot even suggested that there should be "World Eve Remembrance Day" in our calendar to celebrate Eve eating of the Forbidden Tree to help humanity become civilized: for if not for her humanity would have remained primitive and walking naked in bushes among animals. Those celebrating the civilization that the forbidden knowledge brought forget also the death and destruction the same knowledge brought. Which would you choose between these two options: Option 1, You will know every good and evil in the world but once you attain all-knowing of good and evil you must die that very day; Option 2, You will-depend on God to guide you with His Spirit or Message on what is good and what is not good, but you will live as long as keep His word ![]() The Ignorance that is bliss is being independently blind in your natural abilities, but seeing through depending on the Spirit of God. {3} Adam was not supposed or required to outsmart the cunning Serpent, rather Adam was supposed or required to keep the Commandment of God. It is as simple as that. What business did Adam had with the Serpent you speak of? Even if there was someone Adam should outsmart, that should be to outsmart the woman whom Adam obviously knew better than. He had no business outsmarting a serpent. How can you tell the God who gave you everything including the woman that you were loyal to the woman more than you were loyal to the God? God gave you everything, including dominion, life, power, paradise, enjoyment, practical all goodness on the platter of gold without breaking a sweat; but the only thing the woman ever gave you was one or half forbidden fruit, and you because of her tiny forbidden gift you throw away your senses and your glorious destiny to betray your God in order not to miss what she was offering you? What kind of excuse or justification are you trying to make for Adam in this matter? Apart from the Devil and his team, which other creature is as ungrateful as human beings? Simple instruction, "Do not eat this, for you must die in the day you eat it." What has that got with being smarter or naked or ignorant or still a child? Adam did not have to smarter than the Serpent, he only needed to be more grateful and more loyal to God than the Serpent — That's all Adam needed to overcome the Serpent and remain King in Paradise forever. QuinQQ:Let's establish three facts here also: {1}. You mentioned that Adam clearly saw his wife eat the forbidden fruit and did not die but instead became wise — as a sign for Adam to follow. Many Christians deceived by their pastors, General Overseers, Prophets, Apostles and so-called fathers in the Lord, with so-called exegesis that either forces God's Severity and Warnings to blend with their hyper grace and prosperity messages or else they discard such Severity or Warnings of God as Old Testament or as unenlightened views of Old ministers, are also good in using false signs, testimonies, superstories and hypes, as miracles, signs and wonders, they sell to the people when they deceive them. For Adam, he first observed the signs and wonders of his wife eating of the forbidden tree without any seen harm but false appearance of being wise: and he also foolishly believed and listened to his wife at the expense of obeying God. Same with that man of God from Judah, who listened to the signs and wonders of an old or elderly prophet at the direct expense of obeying God in First Kings chapter thirteen. {2}. God already gave Adam first and last time offender's warning grace. The fact that God had to use, "Surely" in warning Adam of the death or inevitable consequences of eating of that tree. For a God who cannot lie, who's word practically created all things, to have to swear or painstakingly assure man with "Surely, Verily or Vow to man" in emphasis as if saying the same thing without the assurance was not good enough, and yet a serpent out of nowhere or a woman made you believe God was not serious or "God's Surely, Verily" is not exegesis but a theological error that does not agree with New Testament Character, Grace or Revelation of God; what more warnings do you think God would give to that man and he will hear? {3}. The Punishment of Adam and his generations was also warning to Adam and to his generations. Their sufferings, their death, their been in hell etc., were all part of the last warning of God for the redemption of Adam and mankind. Figuratively, it's cruel punishment that lasted for 4 or 5 days, and those 4 or 5 days translated into about 4000 or 5000 thousand years till the Lord Jesus Christ descended into Hell and restored Adam and Eve back to Paradise and to Heaven. So currently, Adam and Eve have been forgiven and restore into far more glorious estate than they had in the beginning. Unfortunately, not all descendants of Adam and Eve got to be saved, delivered or redeemed. The current punishment or suffering people are facing is not to blame Adam and Eve, but to sin and wickedness of mankind and of devils. Ensure you are not part of the sinners or devils, but part of the righteous and holy ones in all records of your life on earth. |

PCHC:This is exactly what I mean by hypocrisy. You carefully avoided the fact that Adam did not create himself nor was he the one that gave himself the type of brain that would arrive at the conclusion that the thing to do was to eat the fruit. EVERYTHING Adam did was entirely a result of the type if brain he was given and the tyoe if experiences he was, exposed to - none of which he chose! You also carefully avoided the fact that long before he was created God already knew he'd eat the fruit! |

QuinQQ:In the other thread you claimed you were a Christian only to show how you are true atheist by your lying. That aside, do you need to know good and evil to play/not play with a 16ft crocodile? No And was Adam accused and charged with "Not knowing good and evil"? No He was charged for knowing obedience and disobedience and choosing to listen to his wife in disobedience to God. And you can't play with a 16ft croc, like the boy who climbed into the lion's zone recently and claim first time offender. |

Dtruthspeaker:I AM a Christian but I'm NOT a hypocrite. With due respect, you argue rather child-like. Here's my subsequent post. Respond to it: You carefully avoided the fact that Adam did not create himself nor was he the one that gave himself the type of brain that would arrive at the conclusion that the thing to do was to eat the fruit. EVERYTHING Adam did was entirely a result of the type of brain he was given and the type of experiences he was, exposed to - none of which he chose! QuinQQ:This is you setting up your own version of argument and committing a strawman fallacy. No one said Adam created himself and gave himself his brain. Also, it does not matter whether God knew or not exactly as it does not matter whether you knew or not when your child failed/passed common entrance. That is not the issue. So all your arguments are strawman fallacies |
| Re: Six_questions_about_god_and_hell by QuinQQ(f): 6:45pm On Sep 15 |
Dtruthspeaker:I hope I'm not discussing with some sort of a %$# WHERE IS THE STRAWMAN??! Simple, if Adam is ultimately not responsible for his choices, how can you punish him for the choices??! If he were given a different type of brain or exposed to different experiences, his choice would have been different. Example, if Eve ate the fruit and dropped dead - just example. Here's what you wrote: "as it does not matter whether you knew or not when your child failed/passed common entrance." Whew!! |

Only to change post after i answered you to "Adam did not create himself nor was he the one that gave himself the type of brain". And now, yet again have you changed post to yet another stupi... question saying "how can you punish him for the choices" What else is this woman being prosecuted for if not for her choices? disclose your source of morality as an atheist. Simple https://www.nairaland.com/8746369/anambra-woman-sexually-assaulted-kids And yet you ask "WHERE IS THE STRAWMAN??" You clearly are not well as usually atheists are |
| Re: Six_questions_about_god_and_hell by QuinQQ(f): 8:32pm On Sep 15 |
Dtruthspeaker:Never mind the tables moving in your head. Question is, did Adam deserve to be punished. Did he control the processes within his brain that decided to eat? Could he have overridden the decision of those processes, the decision of his own brain? With what? The woman was punished by ignorant society, NOT God! |

| Re: Six_questions_about_god_and_hell by PCHC(op): 5:19am On Sep 16 |
QuinQQ:Well from my end, I don't carefully avoid fact in hypocrisy when attending to questions or objections against my message of God. I understand Adam didn't make himself, neither did he make his own brain or experiences he was exposed to. I just don't consider his brain-set or his experience as factor to blame for his decision to listen to his wife and disobey God. It is about his heart, not about his brain. His inspiration, not his experience. His devotion, not his education. His loyalty and virtues, not cunningness of the Serpent or the signs on the woman. In simpler language, "It's not about what happens to a man, but about how the man reacts or acts because of what happens to him." That's the secret of the judgments. What caused a man to sin does not excuse the man who sin, it only implicates or indicts others as culprits. Adam was asked, have you eaten of the tree I told you not to eat? Adam did not even answer Yes or No, but sounded like you are now sounding by showing how the circumstances he was exposed to and the woman God gave to be with him influenced him into eating. That excuse did not remove or reduce his being guilty, but it included the woman in the guilt. Thankfully, God provided us with another man comparable with Adam, who did not fall or fail like Adam. That man was named, Job. Compare Adam and Job: {1}. Foreknowledge of God: — God knew Adam will fail with the combination of Satan and his wife against him, if God raises him up from dwelling on the ground to dwelling in the East called Eden. Yet, if God didn't allow Adam to try and fail by himself, mankind would accuse God for the suffering and death of Adam and his descendants without any cause. So God gave Adam a chance to prevent the sufferings and death of all humanity by not failing the test. Yet, Adam failed. On the other hand, Foreknowledge of God: — God knew Job will never fail even with the combination of Satan and his wife against him, even if God strikes him down from dwelling in the East called Ur as the richest man to the ground as the most tormented man in the East. Yet, if God didn't allow Satan to try and fail by himself against, mankind would accuse God for favoring Job with all the good things of life and building a hedge around his garden or estate that no Serpent or Satan could enter through the hedge into Job's Garden or Estate that why Job remained upright and never sinned like other people do. So God gave Satan a chance to prevent the perfection, uprightness and integrity from being perpetual. Yet, Job never failed. {2}. Satan used the wife of Adam, as well as he used the wife of Job, against her husband's uprightness. In both cases, Satan used both women in matters of good and evil, against the uprightness of their husbands. The moment Satan used the wife of Adam in matters of good and evil, Adam found the excuse he was looking for to do that sin he was secretly wanting to do in his mind but found no excuse or opportunity to do and then blame it on someone else's actions or inactions. Adam failed with his mouth eating of the knowledge of good and evil his wife gave him to eat. But in contrast the moment Satan used the wife of Job in matters of good and evil, Job rebuked his wife for sounding foolish and not wise though she thought she was wise in her own eyes. Job thought her, shall we receive good from God and not receive the evil also. And Job never failed or sinned with his mouth. [Job 31:1, 9] — "“I made a covenant with my eyes, how then should I look lustfully at a young woman?... "If my heart have been deceived by a woman, or if I have laid wait at my neighbor's door;" {3} Both Adam and Job were taught by God on the mystery of God's creation and creatures in the beginning. But Adam fell from seeing God to only hearing God, while Job improved from only hearing God with the hearing of the ears to seeing God verbatim. {4} Adam was hiding his sin from God, but Job was searching for his sin before God. As it written, [Job 31:33 NLV] — "Have I hidden my sins like Adam? Have I hidden my wrong-doing in my heart," |

PCHC:Below is Psalms 9:17 and Ecclesiastics 9:10. King James Bible The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. King James Bible Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. What Hebrew word was "Hell" and "Grave" translated from according to the verses above? |
| Re: Six_questions_about_god_and_hell by PCHC(op): 6:55pm On Sep 16 |
MaxInDHouse:The question demands reference(s) or citation(s) from the Bible where the doctrine of God burning all wicked people in Hell forever is established. While the Verses answer them collectively, not individually: Here's how: {1}. "Psalms 9:17" — Answered the "All" part of the question while keeping the destination part of the question in hell. That is, not some or most of the wicked, but "All the Wicked or All nations that forget God" shall be turned, cast or made to go down into Hell or realm of the dead. Some translations used Hell while your NIV used realm of the dead. The Realm of the Dead means the world of the dead, especially described by Job in Job 10:21-22 as the world of Darkness where light there is as darkness. The bottom line is that it is a "Realm of the Dead" in which the dead are undead. Understand the meaning of "the undead" — they are like zombies in the apocalypse that are vampires and their worm (virus) do not die, neither is their fire quench. I should have waited to say this part under the verses of Isaiah 66:24 and Mark 9:43-45. So, I will just bring them up next. {2 + 3}. "Isaiah 66:24 and Mark 9:43-45" — Answered the "forever" duration of the question while keeping the destination part of the question in hell. According to Isaiah 66:24, the dead bodies of the rebels or wicked do not just return to dust, as we see or say on this side of the earth realm that dust return to dust concerning dead bodies or corpses. Rather Isaiah tells us there that the dead bodies are perpetual matter that cannot be destroyed into complete extinction for the destruction of the bodies in hell is followed by instant reconstruction of the bodies again for another round of painful destruction of the bodies. This cycling and recycling continue forever, so that the worm or viruses eat the bodies of undead never die, never stop eating and never say enough, because there is nothing like "Enough" in any part of hell; neither is the fire burning those undead bodies quenchable. As it is written, "[Proverbs 27:20] — "Hell and destruction are never satisfied with enough; so the desires of man are never satisfied." Basically, the souls of men are attached to their bodies, feelings or emotions. So what their bodies feel their souls feel even more in the realm of the dead/undead. {4 + 5}. "Psalms 11:6 and Jude 1:7" are to show the upgrade from hell into Second Death, into which both hell and death or destruction themselves are cast. This one comes down from heaven or you can call it the destruction or burning fire from heaven which is far greater and more deadly all death, all fires, all hell, all torments and all devils, combined. Psalms 11:6 indicates it has characteristics of Solid, Liquid and Gaseous states all at the same time because of the Wind or Breeze aspect, the Raining aspect and the Brimstone or Sulfur aspect. Jude 1:7 describes it as "Eternal Fire" powered by the strong undying energy or zeal of eternal vengeance or anger of God. First briefly sited when used in destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, which by just one looking back at it the wife of Lot was instantly frozen into a pillar of salt. |
| Re: Six_questions_about_god_and_hell by PCHC(op): 6:56pm On Sep 16 |
MaxInDHouse:So to answer your questions: First, Adam and Eve are no longer in hell, but delivered from hell into heaven by the Second Adam, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord descended into Hell to save mankind beginning with saving Adam and Eve because they were the father and mother of all the living. Secondly, God told the truth while the Serpent lied — because they died indeed the day they ate of the forbidden tree. Thirdly, someone damned or condemned to suffering forever in hell is dead in all ramifications of being dead. Hell is the realm or world of the dead. Your misunderstanding of the whole meaning of the dead or death stem from your idea of what death or dead means but different from what I have been explaining. **** Your idea about death is being lifeless, motionless, becoming non-existing in all realms or ramifications. To you being dead means disappeared or vanished into nothingness, vanity and now non-existent. While the world and their scientists define death or the dead by those lines, those are not the meaning of the dead or death in spiritual or true reality. >>>> To Scientists = Living things are things with characteristics of living things such as in the acronym, "MR NIGER D" or "MRS NIGER" or "MRS C GREN" (whichever suits your location) — Standing for *MR NIGER D = Movement, Respiration, Nutrition, Irritability, Growth, Excretion, Reproduction, Death.* Anything that does or have ability for these things are called living, while the non-living things or dead things are incapable of any of them. >>>> To the Spiritual = Even Dead People still have or do *MR NIGER D = Movement, Respiration, Nutrition, Irritability, Growth, Excretion, Reproduction, Death.* There is no time a human soul or person ever becomes unable to exhibit characteristics of living things. Those characteristics do not define whether a person or soul is dead or not: those characteristics only define what realm or world the person is active or passive. E.g. if someone does not exhibit any of those characteristics of living things, we the spiritual do not say the person is dead, we only say he is absent (passive) in this realm but present (active) in another realm. So also, if someone is full of those characteristics of living things, we still do not say the person is alive, though the person is present in this world or realm obviously and not absent — dead people to us are people disconnected from God of Life and are fallen in sin, heading to hell. **** These are the true realities and definitions of the Dead, Dying or Death: To be dead simply means to be detached, be severed, be disconnected, be cast out or fall from the height, of a body's essence or source of life. It is disconnection, not disappearance, of a person from his living body or life source. I already showed from the Angel of life and death matters how Adam death's took three or more detachments or disconnection that stripped him of life while he descended into death. Adam became a dying man, which means his death was in process of dying before it completed his death about 5000 years later, unlike how Abel who died instantly because he was killed by Cain. 1. First, let me discuss the detachment or disconnection of death with Abel before returning to Adam you asked as case study. When Cain killed Abel, Cain thought the person of Abel has disappeared forever and silenced in oblivion of nothingness the way you and other people regard dead people as non-existent anywhere. But no, Abel, the first man to ever completely die in human understanding, was still alive and living though he was dead. His soul was only detached from his body, but his blood was still alive so that if scientists had used microscope to study his blood cells anytime after he was dead in the body, they would have found his blood cells still alive or moving and exhibiting characteristics of living things. Even today, some scientists discovered that the sperm cell of a freshly dead man's body can still give life and pregnancy to egg of a woman. Bottomline, Abel, though dead in the body, was still alive, moving and speaking, though he could no longer touch physical objects or be felt by them. 2. Back to Adam: You have heard there is "First Death" and "Second Death." Within First Death, there are levels or stages of death to complete the First death. Here are two stages of death Adam underwent: {1} Death of his body's incorruptible and glorious essence, and {2} Death of his body's ghost and breath of life essence, about 930 years later. Then finally been bound in hell with chains of death in hell. QUS Describe Death of Adam's body's incorruptible and glorious essence ANS: When Adam ate the forbidden tree, Adam's Body died instantly, which was when Adam saw he was naked. His body had lost or detached from glorious body he had, into this average body humans now have. Check your healthy body now, and see what Adam became reduced to, though in those days even their reduced bodies were far more healthier and stronger than what humans now have that can barely live up to 120 years without failing. In contrast to Adam, Moses went from average body to obtaining the kind of body Adam lost. When Moses had seen God from behind, his body underwent transfiguration and became glorious, shiny and bright like some degree of sun. That new found body of Moses, though he veiled his face or body from people who feared light and preferred darkness, was like the body Adam and Eve lost in the first stroke of death in the event of eating of the forbidden tree. See the twist of events, Adam's Body that could never die was killed by the forbidden tree, and reduced to the average adamic or fallen body, while Adam continued living in the reduced body that became vulnerable to infections or became naked to exposures or attacks. On the other hand, Moses body could never be destroyed by any worm, virus, decomposition, fire or destruction, unless Moses eat of the forbidden tree of knowledge of good and evil. Though Moses died because God struck him for he was not to enter the promised land for his son, though he begged God for forgiveness but was not granted, yet the body of Moses was incorruptible and indestructible because even if the body was without clothing that body was never naked or vulnerable. Satan fought to possess Moses' body for himself but Michael ensured the body of Moses was taken to heaven. For even though God his where He buried the Body of Moses, Satan was more busy searching to exhume and possess the Body of Moses more than Satan or demons would possess any other man's body especially not those who have destroyed or degraded their bodies through fornication and uncleanness. God later allowed Satan ability to destroy Job's untouchable body with worm, virus and boils, but God still kept Job's life untouchable to Satan. But what did Job prophesied concerning the same body? [Job 19:25-27] — "For I know that my Redeemer lives, and that He shall stand at the latter day on the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: Whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me." |

Truthseeker10:The Hebrew word used in both verses for both "Hell and the Grave" is "Sheol." I assume you are trying to make the point that Hell is simply Grave that has no work, no device, no knowledge, no wisdom, no activities, according to the "Ecclesiastes 9:10" you cited. So I will be using the Hebrew word "Sheol" to tell about the cruelty, torments, sorrows, dead, and chains, of Hell. Let's go: First let's establish the true message of the "Ecclesiastes 9:10" you cited. The message is to hasten us to do all we can or should do before we finally enter the grave, because it will be too late to do anything to add or remove from what we did on earth once we are set in the grave. It is more like an adage, not a disclaimer or denial of the activities or things happening in the grave or hell. I give you two similar statements like that of Ecclesiastes 9:10. {1} — "Repent now before it is too late; for there is no repentance in the grave." If I detach part B from part A of the above statement, I will miss the point and may even deceive myself and others arguing that there is no repentance in the grave or hell. Actually, the purpose of part B in that statement or context is simply to push people to part A as the right or best option, even though part B is still an option or reality. In this case, there are so much repentance in the grave or in hell, but those repentance is too late or simply "Had I known." It's the repentance that does not profit or work salvation or even add or remove anything from what was done while on earth. {2} — "I will work the works of Him that sent Me while it is day; the night comes when no man can work." [John 9:4] If I detach part B from part A of the above statement, I will miss the point and may even deceive myself and others arguing that there is no man can work in the night. Actually, the purpose of part B in that statement or context is simply to push people to part A as the right or best option, even though part B is still an option or reality. In this case, there are so much works done in the night, but those works are either too late or simply "imperfect" like those of the five foolish virgins that went out in the night to buy oil but all their efforts were useless and unprofitable because those works were too late. {3} — "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest." [Ecclesiastes 9:10] If I detach part B from part A of the above statement, I will miss the point and may even deceive myself and others arguing that there is no activities or events in the grave or hell. Actually, the purpose of part B in that statement or context is simply to push people to part A as the right or best option, even though part B is still an option or reality. In this case, there are so much works, devices, knowledge, wisdom from the pit of hell. Well, I know you may not agree. So I should go on to using the Hebrew word, "Sheol" to define the cruelties and torments in the grave or hell as recorded in the Bible. Please allow me to cite the Bible References with replacing the words with and when their Hebrew version is "Sheol." (Go and verify any of them). ###1### — SHEOL AFFLICTS WITH SORROWS — [Psalms 18:5] — The sorrows of SHOEL surrounded me about: the snares of death prevented me. ###2### — SHEOL HAS WORMS — [Isaiah 14:11] — "Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, and the noise of your viols: the worm is spread under you, and the worms cover you." ###3### — SHEOL HAS GATES AND BARS — [Job 17:16] — "Shall it go down with me to the gates of Sheol, or descend together into the dust?”" [Also Isaiah 38:10] ###4### — SHEOL CONSUMES SINNERS — [Job 24:19] — "Drought and heat consume the snow waters: so does Sheol those who have sinned." ###5### — BOTH DEATH AND SHEOL FEEDS ON THOSE LAID IN SHEOL— [Psalms 49:14] — "Like sheep they are laid in Sheol: death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in Sheol from their dwelling." ###6### — SHEOL HAS POWER — [Psalms 49:15] — "But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol: for He shall receive me. Selah." ###7### — SHEOL HAS CRUELTY — [Song 8:6] — "Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as Sheol: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which has a most vehement flame." ###8### — SHEOL DOES EXPAND ITSELF AND OPENS HER MOUTH — [Isaiah 5:14: ] — "Therefore sheol has enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoices, shall descend into it." ###9### — SHEOL DOES SEAL COVENANT WITH PEOPLE — [Isaiah 28:15] — "Because you have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol are we at agreement; when the overflowing whip shall pass through, it shall not come to us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:" ###10### — SHEOL DOES HAVE BELLY OR STOMACH, AND THOSE BURIED INSIDE SHEOL DO NOT CEASE TO EXIST BUT ALIVE INSIDE SHEOL BUT SUFFER AFFLICTION IN THE BELLY OF SHEOL — [Jonah 2:2] — "And said, I cried by reason of my affliction to the LORD, and He heard me; out of the belly of sheol cried I, and You heard my voice." |

PCHC:This is your statement in bold below. It is more like an adage, not a disclaimer or denial of the activities or things happening in the grave or hell. Below is Ecclesiastics 9:10 again. King James Bible Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. Is Ecclesiastics 9:10 saying that there are no activities on earth after death or in the grave after death? |

MaxInDHouse:As to question 2 Adam and Eve were among the pre-Noah's flood generations of people in Sheol, to whom the Lord Jesus Christ descended into Hell or Sheol to preach the Gospel. [1 Peter 3:18-20 LBP] — "For Christ also once suffered for our sins, a just Man for sinners, that He might bring you to God, wherefore while He died in the flesh, He lives in the Spirit. And He preached to the souls imprisoned in Sheol; Those who in the past were disobedient; and in the days of Noah, when the Spirit of God had patience, He commanded an ark to be made in the hope of their repentance, but only eight souls entered into it, and were saved by it floating upon the water." And Adam and Eve were among the saints that rose from the dead by death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. And when He, the Lord Jesus was lifted up in ascending, He drew all men He saved from Hell to Him and with Him in the Heavenly City, including Adam and Eve. John 12: 32-33, Matthew 27:50-53, Isaiah 26:19. When the Lord Jesus descended into Hell, He led Captivity captive, but set the captives who believed in Him free: and On ascending He drew all those souls or spirits with Him from Hell or Sheol onto unto the Holy Mountain of God in Heaven. Psalms 68:18, Ephesians 4:8-10. Now to Question 1 Well, there is no where in the 66 Booked Bible that such statements were made verbatim. But there are other spiritual Books outside the Bible that reveal the truth and reality of the salvation and abode of Adam and Eve presently in heaven through the Cross and Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is what I will do instead from the Bible on this matter to show you why the Salvation of mankind must begin with or include the Salvation and participation of the first man and woman, who were the first Man, the first to taste sin, the first and the reason why all men died and needed salvation, and why it must be the Seed of the Woman or the Son of the Man [their descendant] that must correct and redeem their errors if mankind must be restored: For since Adam and Eve were not perfect, someone from among their descendants or offspring must be perfect and be all that Adam and Eve could not be in the image and kingdom of God. Four Groups of Points below {1}. For the Lord to be the Son of Man and still the Son of God, involves the participation of Adam's Name. The Bible states, that Adam was the son of God. As it is written, [Luke 3:38] — "Cainan was the son of Enos. Enos was the son of Seth. Seth was the son of Adam. Adam was the son of God." {2}. First, Adam is the only "Man" in the complete spiritual legal sense apart from the Lord Jesus who is the Second Adam. Only these two were in the Image of God, Adam and the Lord Jesus Christ. No other human is either qualified as "Man" in strict spiritual legal sense or qualified as the "Image of God." Other humans including you and me are all bearing the image of Adam first, and then some of us migrated into bearing the image of the Lord Jesus Christ afterwards. And in strict spiritual legal sense, all other humans including you and me are children of man or men. {3}. To further on the point above, here is reference: [Genesis 5:1-3] — "This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made He him; Male and female created He them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:" From this scripture you that: Adam was in the likeness of God, but his offspring was in the likeness of Adam, not God. You also saw that Adam was the name God called both the Male and the Female, in the same day they were created. This means in the same day they were created, which was on Friday {6th Day}, — The same day they were created was also the same day they sinned and lost the Garden of Eden — Friday, was the same day they were named, and they named all animals too. Actually the first time the word Adam was used as his name was when he was to name the animals God brought to him. So God first named him before God used him to name others including naming the woman. But the Woman received three names in that same Day: Since God called him Adam while she was still inside the man, she was still Adam even when she was taken out of the man or migrated from male into female. The Hebrew word for "Adam" is the same Hebrew word for "Man." Therefore, Adam = Man. So, both the male and female were called "Man" or "Adam." But Adam called her "Wo+Man" or "Woman" because she was taken out of Man. Woman is not the name that shows or identifies she's Female, rather Woman is the name that shows or identifies she's Taken Out of man. There's no name that shows or identifies she's female except female: For both the male and female were together called Adam. This mystery of plurality in singleness of one the perfection of the Man as the Image of God. Without this plurality or multiple in one, Man wouldn't be complete in the Image of God: — Therefore, "It was not good for the man to be alone" — the man was supposed to be multiple or plural, because God is multiple or plural yet one. Hence the two shall become one. Here was the reason and the upgrade: — when God said, Let Us make Man in our Image, after Our Likeness — One God, but Multiple or Plural Beings yet One God or One He. The man He (God) was referring was "him" but the "him" is singular that must also be "them." So the "them" was inside the "him" to complete him as in the image and likeness of God: And let "them" inside the him have dominion over all earth realm things. So, just as the Hebrew name of God, "Elohim" means "Multiple God Beings" in One, even so the name of the Man, "Adam" means "Multiple Them [Male and Female] Man Beings" in One. The Two are One, and the two shall become One. The third or last name of the Woman, was not to show or identify her as female or as taken out of man, but to show all living mankind taken out of her — That name is "Eve" or "Eva" or "Evelyn." It means she is the Mother of all Living or like I said that "All Living taken out of her." A. Her name as "Adam or Man" means she must also exist because without her existing and together with the Man or Adam, it will not be good for the Man to be alone: — She must pluralize the singleness of the male to qualify them being the Man or Adam together. B. Her name as "Woman" means she was taken out of the man. C. Her name as "Eve, Eva or Evelyn" means the man (Adam) too has to be taken out of her so that all the living will come out of her. How can the man (Adam) be taken out of her (Eve) when she was the one taken out of Adam, the man? Your question sounds like Nicodemus question to the Lord Jesus, saying, "How can a man be born again when he is old? Will he enter again into his mother's womb and be reborn? [John 3:4]. Yes, Adam had to enter into Eve and then come out of Eve repeatedly for all living to come out of Eve. The process of Adam going and coming out of Eve is called "Sexual Intercourse." Once Adam successfully went into her and came out, She became one with him and figuratively became mother of Adam, and Adam became the first of the Living of whom Eve the mother of all living, mothered. Thus, each subsequent time Adam called her Eve, Adam was indirectly calling her mother. All these were by the Wisdom of God making arrangements for the Seed of the Woman, One who qualifies as the offspring of Eve, to redeem both her mistake and living mankind. Behold the Lord Jesus Christ came, made of a woman who was an offspring of Eve, and made under the Law, to redeem those who are under the Law — Galatians 4:4-5. {4}. So Adam and Eve were important stakeholders who also participated in the success of the Lord Jesus Christ in the redemption and restoration of all things. Adam and Eve were deliberate in putting all things in place while awaiting the coming of the Messiah. Adam was the first king on earth before the fall, and Adam was the first priest on earth after the fall. The success of Abel in offering to God was thanks to Adam. It seems people only remember the sin of Adam and Eve because of the pains and death they caused, but I tell you, apart from that sin of eating of the forbidden tree Adam and Eve lived a sinless and righteous life throughout the rest of their lives, almost for 1000 years. Imagine Adam and Eve lived 930 years, and no single single was found in them except the sin of the forbidden tree, which they committed in their earliest or first day on earth. The rest of their lives, they never again sinned against God, or against man, or against animals, or against nature, etc. They never lied, never stole, never polluted any body of water, never killed any animal or insect for no good reason, never hated any man, never committed fornication, etc, and they lived in one of the hardest times to live on earth for almost 1000 years with continuous temptations and harassment of Satan for no other humans to occupy the attention of Satan but only Adam and Eve, yet they were without sin apart from the eating of the forbidden tree. Now compare that to your own record of maybe 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, or 100 years you have lived in a relatively better world and how sins you have in your records. Are you then expecting the Lord Jesus Christ to save worse sinners from hell with record of average of (70*7)/100 sins per year, but leave Adam and Eve in hell forever when their record is only 1/930 sin per year? Calculate your own rate of sin per year to show if you would have done better or worse than Adam or Eve in the Garden of Eden or in heaven if your rate of sin per year, since Adam or Eve record stands at 1/930 which is 0.0010753 sin per year. |

Are the spirits described to be in hell human? The scriptures says there is no knowledge in hell {Ecclesiastes 9:5,6,10} so how can Jesus who was dead be conscious when the Bible said he begged God with tears to be saved from hell? Hebrews 5:7 Bible said God raised him from the grave {Act 3:15; 5:30} so how can he be conscious when Bible says there is no consciousness in hell? Ecclesiastes 9:10 According to God's word Jesus and Adam are equals that's why when Adam (perfect man) brought death upon the entire human race {Romans 5:12} only Jesus (perfect man) qualified to redeem mankind! 1Corinthans 15:45 So Jesus can't redeem Adam because they are both qualified as God's sons! Luke 3:38; John 3:16 If Adam who knew God directly is saved after putting billions of people through suffering on what ground could people who never heard God's voice be judged? Another thing is it's only living people that can be redeemed the Bible says after death comes judgment so we only live once {Hebrews 9:27} but with this your own beliefs the Bible lied!🥱 PCHC: |
