It's so disgusting watching the video. How can you buy a device for ₦70k from China and be selling it for ₦300k here? And the Chinese chose to come sell themselves and you want them to go so you keep ripping? Any reason other than this is total BS |

The same people who have been complaining of price of goods and services getting high, the Chinese came to give us some relief with low price, yet some selfish people are angry. Some of them have actually been arrested as they made an attempt of attacking the Chinese business |

Yes, you're correct. They’re the miscreant causing nuisance. Our Chinese brothers & sisters are very much welcome. |

Lol. Temu etc don't run dem street. Before they were bragging they are business genuises. insulting other Nigerians as "lazy" and "unambitious" etc Whereas many of them are just scantily educated glorified hustlers who move goods from one place to sell elsewhere for a higher price. The most rudimentary form of business in reality. Whereas Yorubas run the 'brain economy' I.e ICT, Science and tech etal |

Odin13:Lol. You know me and others are your superiors here. Not even close in terms of analytical intellect, knowledge and reasoning. Stick to your trading and fake drugs/drinks/electronics. By the way, it should be "what gibberish" and not what you wrote above. |

PulaPower:Absolutely. It is about the principle of competitive advantage. What the Chinese can produce and supply to us cheaply, that we cannot match, should be allowed as direct trading import from them. Like Solar battery, inverters and accessories etc. Those who do not like the development should go and seek work at KFC. |

Sheuns:He won't dare mention because he knows he's lying. Igbos haven't stopped non Igbos from trading. The Chinese visa isn't exclusive to the igbo. Even down north, a lot of hausa are into commerce, even competing with the igbo traders, and are traveling out to import their goods. The Chinese can do business in Nigeria, that's not in doubt. But they're aren't allowed to open individual retail shops in our markets. They can set up factories, but not get involved in individual retail outlets. |
| Re: The Igbo Guys Saying Chinese Must Go Should Be Arrested by FSBoperator: 9:28am On Sep 17 |
Svoboda:If every state enacts such laws to protect indigenous retailers, you will be the first to cry. |

Svoboda:They aren’t allowed? By who? Under whose command? Our Chinese brothers & sisters are very much welcomed. They’re free to open whosales, retailes, cowtail, legtail & any form of tail shops & outlets.. |
| Re: The Igbo Guys Saying Chinese Must Go Should Be Arrested by FSBoperator: 9:53am On Sep 17 |
PulaPower:These are the same people who are saying they have come to dominate the retail sector in Lagos and across Nigeria because they know business more than anyone . They will claim free market economy with their competitive edge is why they are dominating retail. Now the Chinese have entered the market and they are asking us to join them to chase the Chinese away . Crase dey worry dem for head. |
| Re: The Igbo Guys Saying Chinese Must Go Should Be Arrested by Svoboda(m): 10:10am On Sep 17 |
FSBoperator:Nobody will cry. The Igbo trader has become so interwoven into the commerce fabric of Nigeria. They've stepped foot and settled in areas your forebears won't dare in Nigeria, and have the corresponding wealth and recognition to show in those locations. Igbos are Nigerian citizens. The Chinese are not. Do their work permits allow them to own and run retail outlets? All I see here is untamed jealousy. Like I said before, the Chinese business visa isn't exclusive to Igbo and Hausa businessmen. They don't have two heads. |

Svoboda:This was the same thing South Africans were protesting about, though they went about it the wrong way Some sectors of the economy MUST be left to the indigenes alone to protect their businesses |
| Re: The Igbo Guys Saying Chinese Must Go Should Be Arrested by Svoboda(m): 10:33am On Sep 17 |
Difrent:You're right. In reality, the sky is too big for everyone but local businesses have to be protected by the government. Some sectors are a no go area for foreigners. That's why govts issue foreign quotas to companies over the no of expats in their employment. |

ObiPandora:Illiterate talk mixed with jealousy raised to power 10. Unless you're worse than an owo mi da, with no meaningful source of income, cry hard as you might, you will continue to buy from the Igbo till thy kingdom come. You're only punching the tailboard of a Dangote cement truck. |

Svoboda:The Chinese are welcome in Yorubaland and Lagos to do their Business and so are you Awolowo brought the Lebanese who did both Wholesale and retail Business and Yorubaland has never regretted it |
