I think the thing that irritates me about Aikou is that I genuinely do not see the extraordinary intelligence everybody keeps projecting onto him. He speaks in a very deliberate way, uses big words, likes to intellectualise simple things and people have somehow turned that into Professor. But when I actually watch him in tasks, games, arguments, problem solving, whatever, I’m still waiting for this exceptional brain everybody keeps talking about. Even yesterday with the stomach thing, the smart response was very simple. She told you twice she didn’t like comments about her body. Apologise and move on. Instead he started doing semantics between stomach and belly like he was defending a thesis. That kind of thing does not impress me, it just feels like talking in circles.

And I think Nigerians are especially susceptible to this style of person because we have this old-school idea that intelligence should sound complicated. Plenty grammar, plenty big words, plenty serious cadence, then everybody assumes depth. For me, if you really understand something, you should be able to break it down simply enough that anybody can follow you. Aikou often does the opposite. The language sounds more sophisticated than the actual thought underneath it. Maybe he is intelligent, fine, I’m not saying he is stupid. I just think his reputation has massively outrun what he has actually demonstrated in that house, and I genuinely do not understand why people are so impressed.

Honestly, Faith was ten times smarter than this guy and nobody cared. We have had an actual polymath in Yerins and he was one of the first to be evicted. So why is being vaguely smart something that should impress me?

At least Laycon was smart even football wise, and creative in tasks and he won. I'm glad for that. Aikou is nowhere close to adekunle, laycon or faith

Frankly, Blue's entitlement annoys the h3ll outta me. To date, she still gives Barry attitude. Not just that, she goes around telling anyone who cares to listen. Come on! Someone you claimed to love so much like a friend? Spare meeeeeeee!

For someone who hasn't shown loyalty to those she calls friends, I think she expects tooooooo much. Come on!

Temi has moved on, as she should. I also like it that Temi doesn't participate in Blue's "Angry with Barry" campaigns to whoever gives her audience. Blue isn't one to keep too close. Naaaah!

I don't find it funny that an adult cannot cook. I mean... It's one thing not to like cooking. Cooking is a survival skill that everyone should have mastered or is fair at, once 18years.
