I was in Faculty of Biological/Physical Sciences. I do not know what they call it now.

I might not recall Dr. Ijeoma, but Prof Ogbonna, why not. There was one massive textbook he was selling then compulsorily and buying it gets you an automatic 30marks.

I am racking my brain to remember most of those wicked lecturers then. The one who taught us MTH 102 was terribly wicked. We just dey jump up and down from lecture West to East, Edu block and others.

Most of my fond memories of Absu was protesting at Govt. House Umuahia cos of the increment of fees that 2008. We wore black on black, jumped on trailers from Uturu to Okigwe, jumped buses from then to Umuahia. SUG President the was Fortunes Okoronkwo. Or when those Fulani men rearing cattle around those mountains entered the school one evening and started shooting at students.

Ah, one night we were seeing one UCL game at RC when we started hearing heavy gunshots at the hostel side. The guys numbered almost 20 according to eye witnesses wore black robe with AKs. They started shooting at the RC hall, omo, I have never scrambled for my life before like that night. Life flashed before my eyes! 10 boys trying to go through the window at once.

Every night was like war film

My brother eh, we did not expect it at all. All man don Jack up, solved similar problems with the formulas. Came into exam hall and saw a twisted, satanic technical question in final year o.

Telling us to use our textbooks just confused us the more. Time was wasted in searching through the textbook. Tension filled the hall.
