The attack came after Senator Richard Blumenthal made an obvious threat live on TV to Putin two days ago. Russia conducted a war time election but Zelensky's excuse is that he can't conduct an election during a live war. Of course he can't conduct an election because he knows he'll lose and he'll lose very bad. His masters in EU/UK/US still need him. The drone attack escalation will lead no where but more damage to whatever is left of Ukraine in the end.

Winter is coming for Ukraine. Long, dark, miserable winter - it will almost look like something out of a horror film. That's certain.

He'll lose if he conduct an election, he knows that. Also his masters still needs him to be president. He's also not safe whenever he hands over power, he knows that too.
