The 2027 presidential election will not even feel like a contest. The margin will be so wide that neither Atiku nor Peter Obi would dare contemplate an election tribunal. They can, of course, continue deceiving themselves and be feeding their unintelligent supporters whatever narrative suits them.

While results oriented politicians are digging in, laying the groundwork for their victory in the forthcoming election, Gringori and his fanatical supporters are busy celebrating his meeting with a "US congressman" and Nicki Minaj's repost of his tweet.

When it's a week to election, they'd start scrambling to secure agents for polling units, and then the whole thing blows up in their faces.

Their unpreparedness and insistence on social media space victories bear them the fruits they deserve, a bouquet with flowers identical to the last they were given in 2023. Then they'd turn around, miffed at everyone else but themselves, and find a thousand bogeymen to vent their frustrations on.

Hardly will they recognise/realise their folly.
