Juve’s current problems started after they were punished with relegation for trying to influence referee selections. The club’s modern history has been massively tainted by that incident.

They were deducted another 9 points in the Serie B. While they achieved promotion immediately and went on to win more Scudetto, the consequences of that relegation is part of what they are suffering right now as they lost a lot of their players and had to splurge aggressively when they returned.

114 of 115 is massive and needs to set a precedence. I expect City to appeal and drag this thing but the punishment needs to be strong. Otherwise, you have killed the spirit of fairness and competition.

I wish they would be that ruthless in England, but I doubt it will ever happen. The punishment from calciopoli scandal was what scattered the life of Juve and AC Milan till date.

Inter Milan got a post dated league championship and had enough headstart to win leagues while AC Milan and Juve were suffering from the fallout of Calciopoli scandal.....

Unfortunately, the politics in English football will most likely make it impossible for City to get the maximum punishment for their infractions.

Being proven guilty of 114 diffrent breaches is enough for them to not only be relegated but stripped of titles fraudulently won, but I don't see them getting the maximum penalties at all.

I'm even seeing transfer bans as one of the potential punishments though I think it won't be a standalone one. Politics is quite interwoven with football these days so what is expected can be not what may come instead but I think whatever they get would be a strong punishment after Everton and Chelsea got sanctioned. 114 out of 115 charges is crazy
