Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has said he is supporting the Presidency of Bola Tinubu.

He noted that his support for the President is in his capacity as a governor and member of the National Economic Council.

Otti made the clarification in an exclusive interview aired on Arise Television on Friday, after he was asked whether his support for Tinubu amounted to a “comfortable arrangement” between him, a Labour Party governor, and the ruling All Progressives Congress.

The governor said he was not in a position to oppose Tinubu, adding that doing so while being part of the government could lead to “implosion”.

When I see that disgruntled Fayemi in things like this, I wonder where shame really is. The worst Governor in the history of Ekiti state. No shame. Someone that should be quiet and hide his face.

He would have been the best governor ever if he was supporting Tinubu. Get used to the fact that not all Yoruba leaders will support Tinubu. Omoluabis like Seyi Makinde and Fayemi will rather take their support elsewhere. Tinubu himself, never supported Obasanjo all through his 8 years. He should stop feeling entitled to the support of all Yorubas.

My assertion is not even about whoever who chooses to support, it's on his personality as bad leader.

Did Fayose perform better than him as governor or does he have a better personality than Fayemi? You are looking for an opportunity to term him a betrayer like you already did to Osinbajo, Aregbesola, Ambode, Fashola, and numerous other promising Yoruba leaders that fell out with Tinubu. The hypocrisy is that Tinubu opposed Obasanjo all through his tenure because of his own personal ambition to be president.
