The first early Christians were composed mainly of Jews and Israelite stock.

Was Peter or any of the other disciples and later Paul (a Pharisee) of another religion before they converted to Christianity?

Here is a global map of past and present inventions/inventors

Concentration is in Europe, North America , China and Australia.

I will search for countries with individuals with the highest patents which I once stumbled upon and you will see that concentration is around Germany, France and Scandinavian nationals.
