It won't work, Wike is trying to use his Rainbow coalition to collect some APC States from APC Governors on a promise that those elected under PDP will defect to APC. Politics does not however work that way. In those states where Rainbow coalition candidates of PDP are challenging APC candidates, the votes will split into two and ADC and NDC will have upper hand. It's as simple as that

Isn't that funny, almost 30 plus Governors just after one man who is not even in an executive position.

There is nothing like overbearing attitude. He is politically smart and understand the game and thaf is while he will continue to be relevant in polirics to the disappointment of you obidients. He has not denied been a pdp member and he clearly stated it that, he will support tinubu fully for presidency but suppoet pdp in other contest. Why will some apc govwrnors wont be afraid of rainbow coaltion when they schemed out very important politicians with grassroot appeal. Take a look at kwara governor who replaced all national assembly members and expect them to fold thier hands and be clapping for him. My governor okpebholo is very confortable with rainbow coalation cos it is even an added advantage. He was able to manage the primaries very cos he consulted widely before picking candidates. Some governors have made themselves a tin god and wike coalation will sweep them.

Yes o, Peter obi influence no be small, his influence has made so many governors today, that's y he was begging and looking for a party that handle the presidential ticket to him without primary, what Tinubu survived before 2023 election in APC presidential primary, them no born obi well to survive it, Buhari was against Tinubu and every other politicians in APC yet he beat them to become party presidential candidate. Kids are to many in this forum, to say in every obi pass Tinubu, even obi himself could not there say that, is it money or political calculation. Many times I would ignore the way some of you talk.

I just think all these governors are a little jealous that someone can eat his cake and have it while they can't.

They have been railroaded into the ruling party obviously against their will and their taste and they now see someone having his will and his way at the same time.

They can't understand that. For the Zamfara governor, he is obviously in a place he doesn't want to be and it really pisses him off.

I won't be surprised that a number of them will leave the ruling party and return to where they came from once the elections are done and dusted.

Though I am not interested in all these nonsensical, crude politicking that has not delivered any benefit to the nation.

Now the same beneficiaries of his evil deeds are complaining.

Wike likes double dipping and will rather scatter APC than join them.

At the end of the day, Tinubu must choose who is the lesser evil - Wike or the Governors.

Wrong. What's the incentive for the governors to work for him when he is actively supporting Wike in undermining their own chances? They will rather strike a deal with other opposition parties. Tinubu needs the governors more than they need him. Besides, the major reason why the governors (especially in the North) are concerned is because they know their people. Even APC supporters will take a cue from Wike and do the Rainbow Coalition alias Rice and Beans politics even far better than Wike can. It's already happening.

Yesterday at Gezawa market in Kano, during our grassroots work, we met an APC member. He looked us in the eye and swore to God he will vote Atiku in 2027.

We asked him why.

Can this Zamfara Governor guarantee Tinubu winning his state with a margin of 70%?

As at when Wike was delivering for Tinubu in 2023, this boy was busy giving Atiku votes and reducing Tinubu's chances.

Someone like Kabiru Marafa very strong Zamfara politician and solid Tinubu ally got the NDC ticket for Zamfara. He's also supporting Tinubu.
The Governor is panicky because Marafa is also supporting Tinubu. So, what can the Governor offer Tinubu thy Marafa cannot offer?
If the Rainbow Coalition backs someone like Marafa, the current Governor is gone.

One mistake GEJ made in 2015 was giving mobilisation and support to PDP politicians who cornered the resources and didn't use it as instructed.

This time, he's bypassing Governors and cutting deals, politician to politician.

This framing is what the governors want to propagate and it is dishonest. Unfortunately for them, some of us detest deception. Did Wike create their problem? Why should he be the solution to it? PDP has always been in existence and Wike never left the party.

Are Soludo, Adeleke and others like them APC members? Is Wike an APC member? Was he in the APC when he worked for Tinubu? Has he ever said he will work for all APC members? So what is the problem now?

The only problem now is that these governors have created internal problems in their state with how they handled party affairs. Then you have Uzodinma who wants to be the Senate President and also install his successor.

Just because Wike is a Minister and controls the PDP, these desperados expect the PDP to cease to exist in their states. Absolutely ridiculous. Even in Rivers which is the home of the Rainbow Coalition, PDP exists. They should stop blackmailing others.

I maintain that if those governors have done well, they have nothing to fear. This also applies to the president.
