The Man Involved in the Ghost & Spirit Robbery Arrested After ₦5 Million Reward Announcement

A viral CCTV video from Ghost & Spirit Lounge on Ekoro Road, Abule Egba, Lagos, has led to a major breakthrough just hours after the club management offered a ₦5 million reward.

On the night of Saturday, 26 September 2026, a group of young men were relaxing and chatting beside parked cars outside the lounge. A man in a yellow top was seen circling the area before walking straight up to one of the guys and standing directly in front of him, appearing to target and confront him. While the rest of the group remained unbothered, a Mercedes-Benz suddenly pulled up on the opposite side of the road. The driver stepped out and immediately opened fire in their direction, causing panic as almost everyone scattered and ran.

Only the targeted man stayed put. As the gunman crossed the road, another man in a white top — who had been mixed in with the group the entire time — stepped forward. The three men (the one in yellow, the one in white, and the shooter) quickly ran to the waiting Mercedes and drove off. It is believed the victim was robbed of his phones and a Cuban/gold chain, though exact details of what was taken remain unconfirmed.

The same CCTV footage later showed that this was not an isolated case. Club management revealed that a similar armed robbery had occurred about six months earlier, during which several customers lost cash, phones, gold and other valuables, and one victim was shot but survived.

In response to the latest attack, which happened around 4:00am, the management of Ghost & Spirit publicly announced a ₦5 million reward for any credible information that would lead to the identification and arrest of the suspects. They confirmed the incident had been reported to the police and that investigations were ongoing.

Less than 24 hours later, Lagos Police arrested one of the suspects allegedly involved in the robbery. The swift arrest has been widely attributed to the combination of the viral CCTV footage and the substantial reward offered by the club.

The Ghost & spirit lounge is a very nice lounge but the front of the lounge is so disorganized and crowded. People are just standing idle in front of that lounge

The lounge management should find solution to that menace because the lounge is too beautiful to be closed down if something bad happens

They should not waste time in taking him to court, immediate execution by firing squad to serve as deterrent to other unscrupulous elements like him

The guy who's gold chain was stolen, suppose chop better drilling for loose guarding. A total stranger walks up to u put his hand in ur pocket and u did not punch him first to create a scene or quietly walk away. Maybe he was high as f..k from smoking so he couldn't even move.

Very nice lounge. I was impressed with their convenience rooms. They have dedicated teams on ground for cleaning. They also have correct vendors for catfish, ofada and Snail. Na there I watch champions league final to mock Arsenal

The photo of him on white was enhanced using AI. AI changed the color of his shirt to white and removed his dread. But it replicated his face accurately.
