Nigerian President Bola Tinubu’s first supplementary budget includes a fleet of SUVs for himself and his wife, a presidential yacht and the renovation of his villa amid a cost-of-living crisis for some of the poorest people in the world.

The proposal — which seeks additional funding beyond the annual budget approved by Tinubu’s predecessor — comes as the government asks Nigerians to persevere through pain caused in part by a raft of economic reforms ushered in by the new president. Africa’s most populous country faces rampant unemployment, soaring food prices and a plummeting currency.

Federal lawmakers approved the president’s request for extra spending on Thursday, but eliminated the provision of 5 billion naira ($6.01 million) to buy a presidential yacht. Instead, they doubled the allocation to a student loan fund to 10 billion naira, according Abubakar Bichi, chairman of an appropriations committee in the House of Representatives.

The lawmakers approved 1.5 billion-naira proposed to purchase SUVs for the office of First Lady Oluremi Tinubu — an amount larger than that allocated to many individual federal colleges. The supplementary budget also proposes almost 6 billion naira to purchase SUVs for the presidency — more than the amount initially allocated to fund a student loan program for poor families.

Imagine all these vehicles were functional ambulances in the primary healthcare centers across Ogun state. But nay! Politicians are using them for politics. Imagine the bad roads in Ogun state that Yayi will be using these vehicles on. Terrible country with wicked leaders.

They said the mekunu and talakawas should be frying and selling Akara/Kulikuli, roasting corn or even satchet water business to eke out a living while they kept living and rubbing these kinds of corrupt outrageous opulence in our faces.

In other words, this is the first time that a political party in Nigeria will have a long convoy of buses and vans for political campaign? And of course, the only source of the funds for the vehicles must be fuel subsidy savings. And of course, after the elections, the vehicles will be taken out of Nigeria to be used elsewhere.

President Tinubu should use fuel subsidy savings to subsidies price of rice,bread, and other foodstuff instead of wasting public funds on political campaigns and party patronage Please. let's the masses breathe !!

The Problems with the Notorious Obedient can be Divided into the followings:
1•Those who don't have forgiveness in them- because they See President Tinubu - as one them ( he was carrying a Bullion Money,before he became a President - so he still one of them, according to their Permutations and Falsehoods 😨.

Any leader that will seek total overhaul of the current Nigerian constitution is welcome....

That's the bedrock of Nigeria problem...

There's no need for any candidate to be reelected, the executive shouldn't be the one to appoint Chief judge, anti graft agency bosses, 70% of decision currently made by the president must be left for the parliament...

The Senate president must remain in opposition camp,

No politician currently in office or not yet elected or appointed can change to another party...

Once you're known as member of party A, you'll always remain that except the party no longer exist

You must not only appoint members of your party alone, your cabinets must include members of other parties, and such people appointed must not be moles you planted in other parties if not they'll be disqualified and the Senate will pick a replacement from the eligible citizens who are not partisian...

And only the Senate can dismiss any appointment.

The president can not take or control judiciary,
He will be treated as a citizen before the law...

Tell your Obi to return the loans that he took and stole.
