It is obvious that Nigerians hates Nigerians. This initiative that should be applaud is widely criticized by those that love the students to be at home for ASUU strike so they can blame government.

Even during the oil boom days no government has considered loan for students, and these NELFUND has modalities well spelt out for repayment.

The question we should ask is this how many months have ASUU gone on strike and which government have done any similar things like NELFUND.

All these apc sycophants and paid campaigners for nelfund, are you all saying that a paltry little sum of 20-40k is sufficient to take care of the huge increase in school fees, a lot of students in government universities and polytechnic are paying over 150k, 200k and above in school fees excluding all other expenses and u are saying a little sum of 40k is worthy for students to celebrate. Are u even aware that some private owned scholarships that do not request for refunds is worth over 300k. The nelfund loan ought to cover all your school fees in higher institution to graduation and in subsequent years after graduation. You can pay back. Rather nigeria apc government only pays a little sum of 40k that cannot cover upto half of the expenses in nigeria universities school fees, some acceptance fees is higher than the 40k sef. Also, why is a short period given to repay the nelfund payments. Based on the bad exchange rate and devaluation of naira by apc government against the interests of the citizens. What makes the nelfunds good when students would still have to repay the funds Anyway after they graduate

Ọgá everybody knows that , 20k is optional, those taking it is aware they request for it because they need. Repayment is easy. It's just 10% of your salary
