Justice Silvanus Oriji of a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, adjourned the case involving Jordan Ezenwo Nyesom-Wike, son of the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, to December 1, 2026. Jordan, a lawyer, told the court that his signature on the document presented to the court was forged. According to him, he has no link whatsoever with the claimants in the case. While under cross-examination by Counsel to the Claimants, Hamza Dantani, Jordan said he was out of the country at about the time he was said to have collected the money on September 26, 2025 He told the court, "I did not receive any money from anybody. I did not sign any document for land deal, I only found out that my signature was on the land document just like anyone else in this court yesterday (Tuesday). "I never had any friend named Onor Sandy and I did not have any deal with anyone regarding land deal". The case was adjourned to December 1,2 and 14, 2026 for continuation of trial. At the last adjourned date, the Court ordered him to produce his travel passport. He produced the photocopy of the passport with an undertaking that the original will be produced whenever it is needed by the court. The court made the order following an application by Counsel to the claimants, Hamza Dantani, during the defendant’s defence, in an alleged $2.1 million fraud case. The suit, marked CV/008/2026, was filed by Safwan Garba GY and GY Global Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited against Jordan, who is the son of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike. The claimants said they met Jordan in London, where they developed a friendship and after about three months, they met again in Abuja, where they approached him for assistance to facilitate the acquisition of land in the Federal Capital Territory. The claimants claim that Jordan agreed to facilitate the acquisition of 30 hectares of land at Katampe and 30 hectares at Guzape. They allege that Jordan told them the facilitation fee was $2.1 million, adding that $2 million was for his father, the FCT Minister, while $100,000 was his personal fee. They further alleged that the cash was delivered on September 26, 2025 in the presence of Adamu Sani, Aliyu Sarki, and Sai Wani, while Jordan was accompanied by one Onor Sandy.

Wike and his son are now partners in grabbing peoples land in Abuja , in a country where tinubu is president So Wike brought his son back from London to join him in grabbing peoples land and make it there own. My fellow Nigerians, are we going to continue to fold our arms and watch this thieves masquerading as APC tinubu ally continue to destroy our country? Tinubu appointed thieves and land grabbers in his government and that's the reason the economy of this country is nose diving. The president is clueless and his appointees are thieves looting everything they could lay there hands on including land in Abuja. We must kick tinubu and his land grabbing appointees and son out of aso rock in 2027 insha allah |

The people's gazette report that showed huge hectares of choice lands awarded to two of Wike's sons was also denied. It's all starting to make sense. All green areas in the capital city have been sold out, making Abuja prone to flooding in the past few days. Previous FCT ministers who left those lands fallow did so for a reason. It was not because they didn't know the value of land. |

How old is Wike's son to have given him a deal worth $2m? That person should be arrested. Is Wike's a real estate agent? |

It's clearly shows that someone is sitting down somewhere to damage the image of the boy and his father. The way he has spoken here shows he has no hands in the matter. |

If it can be established through the stamped page of the passport that he was not in Nigeria truly on the said day, then it is likely the claimant is lying and trying to frame up the boy or he was scammed by an impostor. If that is the case, it will be very unfortunate. Even at that, it is all wrong and illegal to try to bribe the son of a Federal Minister with the sum of $2.1million to acquire land in the FCT. I am not a lawyer but I think the court should not even assume jurisdiction over any fallout from an illegal contractual agreement like this. The Police should actually do a proper investigation and charge whoever is at fault with criminal offense. Bribery is a crime committed by both the giver and the taker. |

Why provide a photocopy of passport and not produce the original right away? The claim that the original can be produced whenever the court demands it doesn't fly. The court didn't request for a photocopy did it? This is a clear attempt to buy time. A photocopy will certainly skip the dates in the passport that will affirm or rubbish the accused claims that he was outside the country. This is just a desperate attempt to buy time so that shenanigans and possible influence on the judge can be carried out. |

helinues:The dude is an adult and a lawyer, it's not by age. With your age the so called small boy get money pass you. He is learning from your president and his dad the FTC minister. His offense is that he didn't deliver else we won't head about this. He is allegedly a fraudster. |

seunmsg:The question should be if its stamped whi h time is it stamped? These dudes can sign a deal in the morning and fly in to the US in the next 30 minutes, they are citizens and have access to private jets for movement. So that his passport was stamped that day doesn't mean he is innocent, don't ever vouch for politicians and their children, they usually have zero morals especially in Nigeria. |

ExudeLoveToAll:Well, I have absolutely no pity for a home that can bribe the son of a minister with $2.1m to get 60 hectares of land in the FCT. |
