Socialism and communism is by far better than democracy which according to Karl Marx "Is only the best form of government around which intoxigates the people."
LOL...it worked so well for the USSR, DDR and the CSSR and a host of other countries.

Human rights in China is defined differently from that of Canada. But open the law books of both and you'd be alarmed at the level of inequality, where a certain group holds more favour than others and certain race or ethnic groups can aspire or commit a crime without reprieve
China is a communist country that is practicing capitalism. That is why they are prosperous.

Look, as I told you, it does not matter what type of system you are doing, so long as you free the business people to do their thing, your country would be rich.

Nigeria has not freed the businesses to do their thing especially in places like electricity and so forth. Plus, most of you want to share money, not to be productive, which is why democracy does not appear to work.

Until you guys are ready to be productive, una no go see improvement. You will end up with bobo chicago type leaders, all the time. If you like, do communism. Ethopia, angola ,congo pr, even benin, mozambique did communism, e no work because they are like Nigeria. Sell raw materials and share money.

You gave a few bad examples, how about the good ones? Especially the ones that actively practice socialism and mixed market economy while shouting capitalism and democracy everywhere?

Get it. Spain is socialist and France is socialist and UK is socialist by far but most are democratic on paper and media. Infact, Europe is socialist and most with fascist leaders.

Their economy is closed to outsiders but they prosper. Their citizens are working round the clock to buy water and electricity.

I'm Nigeria it's far worse. We are productive, very innovative examples with those traveling outside Nigeria and working in several countries.

I go on but the core lies with the Abuja boys. If we get the right boys into aso rock, we are good and it's all different with Obi.

And the economy is heavily capitalist, and it is not closed to outsiders, lol.

They allow the economists do their thing.

Now you have moved goalposts.

UK and france and spain also privatised their government owned industries long long time ago

Plus, they use their resources to make stuff the world needs. That is what your government of APC and all the precceding governments do not do for Nigeria.

PLus they allow their electricity sector, to give an example, charge cost reflective tarrifs, meaning they can be profitable.

You guys should stop amusing me, lol.

If it can be established through the stamped page of the passport that he was not in Nigeria truly on the said day, then it is obvious the other parties are lying and trying to frame up the boy. If that is the case, it will be very unfortunate. Even at that, it is all wrong and illegal to try to bride the son of a Federal Minister with the sum of $2.1million to acquire land in the FCT. I am not a lawyer but I think the court should not even assume jurisdiction over any fallout from an illegal contractual agreement.

The Police should actually do a proper investigation and charge whoever is at fault for criminal offense.

This is a clear case of money laundering. How is the EFCC not even after the so-called company representatives? However, it will be interesting if a video pops up to support the plaintiff's claims.

Something that ordinary me can receive the said cash by 7am or 8am in the morning and travel out of Nigeria that same morning by 10am or 11am.

Except the passport has a time stamp and their is a video showing the time the fund was handed (ever), if not, there is nothing to prove with the Passport submission

The news said the company wanted to acquire 30 hectares of land for $2.1million

Then, the news said $2million was for Wike and $100,000 for Jordan

If that's the case, please how much was the landhuh I'm confused
From what I think. There is a way to get land by allocation without buying. I think that is the way Wike and some of his sons got some alleged lands that the images were flying on the internet.

So this is like give money to the allocator and he allocates land to the person. Then he pays some registration fees and some money to get the property.

So it will look like just land allocation but at the back, there is something shady going on.

You cannot compare the ease of doing business in the mentioned nations with America or Canada.

Opening up industries for capital gains is not new to socialism or communism either. If your leaders are fascists like that of Nigeria and some parts of Africa, including North Korea and the rest them you have big problems. But if they are liberal like Biden and Obama and are visionary leaders like Hu JinTao and his successor Xi you would be discussing government and economy at the same path else it's badlight to distance economic style from government style.

Chinese government has eyes on all investments and investors in China and government actively participates in company boardroom and own shares in large multinationals that operate within China. Same with many nations except America that allows a free market for all who can meet regulatory standards excluding UK and EU that run a tight economy where foreigners hardly own and operate manufacturing industries.

A stamp on the passport on the said date is not a conclusive evidence that he was outside the country. Oluwole is oluwole for a reason.

Why woukd they not have video evidence? You paid $2.1m,but do not have any form of evidence, stranger things than we know are happening in Nigeria.
They would have realized they were scammed once they see the real Jordan Wike in court. Or you imagine they are that daft?
Re: Wike Son Submits American Passport In Controversial $2.1m Land Acquisition Case by horlando30: 6:25pm On Sep 30
Your suspicion might be right. I also suspect the claimant may be the fraudster actually. These scammers can be very "overly bold" sometimes. Remember the Abuja DG fraudster how he was so bold to accuse Gbaja that he called him to demand bribe before investigation shows he was lieing. Ofcourse you cant vouch for Wike or any politician for that matter but this look and smell like false alarm. Who carries and dash $2M to anybody without signing any document or take pictures.

Thorough investigation should be done and this seeming fraudster should be jailed if found guilty.

Back in the days they used to but in some years now they don’t stamp it. If come into Nigeria with an American passport both in leaving and entry they won’t. They only have to give you a digital copy from NIS or the country immigration website to show the date you came in or left the country. The only way they can do it is the customs and immigration service will provide the court the date he left Nigeria but from a passport point of view. No immigration or customs officer anywhere in the world stamps their passport. This is also my personal experience in the last 8 years and including my kids
