Specifically, though, I would like to know if the H153-381 is working with the ODU. I just got two of it yesterday and today via Facebook.

X30 is not being sold by any ISP. It is universal by default, but that's not what makes it a good choice. It is the fact that you can easily change its imei, which is what these ISPs use to restrict/allow access to their data by routers.

I see lots of people here full of praise for MTN ODU what you don't get is with time it'll degrade due to congestion from high number of subscriptions that's the same fate facing airtel now and the good thing is airtel is on a massive upgrade to tackle the congestion issue but mtn are they upgrading their masts rapidly as airtel, No that's why the odu is sold limitedly to manage congestion and speeds as for me I stick with airtel! and I even got the Huawei CPE MAX 6 which is a major upgrade over the zlt x17m which has served me well and gracefully for the last one year plus..

Everyone should stick to the network that works fine for them. Saying MTN is selling their ODU limitedly to avoid conjection is a fat lie. Just Google the number of their subscribers and compare with other ISP.
Most people praise mtn cos they are getting value of what they paid for.

It has to be the X30 because it is capable of carrier aggregation as it should be, at least, an LTE CAT 12 router.

I think one key thing is that I doubt if one can easily tweak their imei, which is key to them working with all these ODU Sims.

I was searching for portable routers that have the feature to tweak imei and found premium ones selling close 1 million naira.

I already called and chatted with them on Twitter and they are saying saying to exercise patience. It's been 2 hours.

Has anyone experienced this before and what's the way forward?
