Now, to the topic: political campaigning is not a cheap project or child's play. You have to be properly guided and adequately prepared before embarking on it. Most of the candidates from the APC are returning candidates, so they already have established structures and, presumably, deeper pockets to handle campaign expenses.

You can't reasonably compare that with a party that struggled to pay its agents' transportation fares to polling units in 2023 and may face similar financial challenges again in 2027. Campaigning requires money, logistics, mobilisation, agents, publicity and a functional grassroots structure. These are practical realities that shouldn't be ignored when assessing any political campaign.

You can even hear one of the guys shouting that they have removed one before. That suggests this isn't the first time they've had an issue with the billboard. Yet, despite that, the candidates still failed to pay the required signage fees or provide evidence that the necessary signage approval was obtained.

If they are claiming that approval was secured, the straightforward thing is to produce the approval document or proof of payment. Otherwise, removing the billboard again raises legitimate questions about whether the required approval was actually obtained in the first place.

This underhand tactics is really low for APC
Asides setting a bad precedence for future election,it reeks of desperation

But come to think of it would I go and vote for APC because I saw there billboard. Is the hardship, hunger and insecurity not enough reasons to vote against them despite them plastering their banners everywhere

As it is now every tom, dick and ola has a smart fone and they probably have tictok, Facebook or Instagram....what better way to reach them than in their household

I cannot remember when last I held a physical newspaper but we have the news delivered daily to us in our fones.

Except APC would censor everything on social media that's when I know they would be making impact
