The current Deputy Governor of Kaduna State is a woman. And where exactly did you put women like Aisha Binani, who served as Senator for Adamawa Central? What about the late Mama Taraba? What about Sadiya Umar Farouq.
These women have held positions far higher than a councillor. Yes that's the spelling, and not counsellor according to you.
Ironically, while making a point about education and backwardness, you're being corrected on English by a Northern Muslim 😄
And regarding Arabs and Islam, Islam originating in Arabia does not mean Arab culture is the standard by which every Muslim society must operate. Muslims in Nigeria have their own cultures, histories and social realities. If an Arab society adopts a particular practice, that does not automatically make it Islamic, nor does it mean every Muslim society must copy it.

Lets not even talk about political position, let's start from the course she read, how many of the female do you guys allow to read law? Because if you allow them they will fight for the girl and woman right! QED.

Stop being biased in your assertion. It's more of a Nigerian thing. Religion does not play a major impact in this. Did you know that Nigerian has the least number of female representatives in politics? If you're adamant that it is religion, again, did you know that the second highest global political position is held by a Nigerian and female Muslim? Did you also know that the first female chief justice of Nigeria is a Muslim female?

Adamawa almost elected its 1st female governor. The North is also highly educated and advanced but there have alot of uneducated people who dont even recieve basic or elementary education but they can read and write.

Without even asking, I can tel what part of the country you are from.
It's pathetic that you people are always seeing what's bad in other regions but blind to yours. Women in the North have more freedom than women in your region.
Women in your region are treated as properties with asinine bride cost demands from family.
Your women are made to drink water from the bodies of their dead husbands, your women have little to no respect when it comes to sharing their husbands properties after they die.
You are most backward and archaic but na other people's issues you will rather wail about.
How many women do you have in top positions politically in your region?
They have more women in important political positions in the North more than in your region. I guess your religion is the reason for making women drink water from the bodies of their dead husbands. Look in the mirror before talking about others.
